陶藝家「邱秀三（鐙鋒）」老師，為了傾力鑽研生產出上好的茶器，全心投入窯燒。2008年夏天，為「鐙鋒陶藝創作」守護夢想的窯火─「仟鼎窯」誕生了。邱鐙鋒說：「仟鼎窯的誕生，代表的是『鐙鋒陶藝』傳承的開始，我最大的期望是：仟鼎窯能世世代代打造出手感及質感並重的生活藝術陶。」
燒陶的過程是辛苦而又寂寞的。想要燒出貼近茶人之心的名器，在燒製過程中必須徹底完成「還原」的程序，並能讓茶器含有充足的「碳元素」，讓茶器在外觀及功能上，都能達到至高的境界。如今仟鼎窯已能充分掌握技巧，依陶土的礦物成分及釉色，最做完美的調配。
