朱坤培 (Chu Kun-Pei)

朱坤培 1961 年生於臺灣臺東縣，畢業於臺北復興商工美工科。因接觸知名陶藝家蔡榮祐老師之作品而投入陶藝研究，至今深耕陶藝創作已逾四十年。

現於南投草屯設立工作室，並於埔里水流東築柴窯創作。歷年來舉辦多次個展，包括 1995 年臺北縣立文化中心陶藝個展、2004 年與 2009 年臺中市立文化中心個展、2018 年臺中大墩文化中心「百碗創作特展」、2020 年南投縣政府文化局茶碗創作個展，以及 2016 年與 2024 年於臺中月臨畫廊舉辦之個展。

此外，他亦於 2009 年、2012 年、2022 年及 2026 年持續於三義當代陶藝館舉辦陶藝個展。

Born in 1961 in Taitung County, Taiwan, Chu Kun-Pei graduated from Fu-Hsin Trade & Arts School. Inspired by the modern ceramic works of renowned master Tsai Rong-Yu, he embarked on his journey in ceramics, a professional research and practice that spans over four decades.

He currently maintains his studio in Caotun, Nantou, and built a wood-fired kiln in Shuiluidong, Puli. Over the years, he has held numerous solo exhibitions, including at the Taipei County Cultural Center in 1995, the Taichung Municipal Cultural Center in 2004 and 2009, the ”One Hundred Teabowls Special Exhibition“ at the Dadun Cultural Center of Taichung City in 2018, the Teabowl Solo Exhibition at the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Nantou County Government in 2020, and solo exhibitions at Moon Gallery in Taichung in 2016 and 2024.

Furthermore, he has repeatedly presented solo exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Ceramics in Sanyi, including in 2009, 2012, 2022, and 2026.

「當代茶事」是當代陶藝館 × 時砌茶閣 共同發起的長期合作系列。以季節茶席為題，一年舉辦四場，每一場配合館內的當期展覽，由茶藝師專業展演。

以「茶 × 陶 × 展覽」為核心，結合茶文化與陶藝美學，打造沉浸式茶席體驗，讓展覽中的陶藝作品回到它本來的位置 — 被使用，被感受，被帶進生活。

好湯，好器，好時光。
讓藝術，從欣賞走進生活。

”Contemporary Tea Symposium“ is an ongoing collaboration between Contemporary Ceramics Gallery and Stillness Tea Gallery. Conceived as a seasonal tea gathering presented four times a year, each session is curated in tandem with our featured exhibitions and presented by a professional tea artist.

Centered around ”Tea × Ceramics × Exhibition,“ this series merges tea culture with ceramic aesthetics to create an immersive tea experience: allowing the displayed artwork to return to its original purpose: to be used, felt, and brought into daily life.

Fine tea, fine objects, fine times.
Let art step out of appreciation and into life.

Studying under modern ceramic master Jung-Yu Tsai, Kun-Pei Chou has dedicated over forty years to the art of ceramics.

As Contemporary Ceramics Gallery marks its 38th anniversary and approaches its own 40-year milestone, this exhibition highlights his exquisite mastery of wood-fired luster and tea bowl creation, while celebrating decades of shared dedication between artist and gallery in promoting ceramic art.

當代故事｜002：為何收藏陶藝？

許多人認為，藝廊的使命是展示作品；但對我們而言，收藏，是另一種責任，也是對藝術家最深的支持。

自 1988 年創立以來，當代陶藝館典藏橫跨數個世代，從早期大師的經典作品到當代藝術家的重要創作，逐步建立起屬於臺灣陶藝發展的一段收藏脈絡。

The Art of Collecting

Many believe an art gallery’s role is to exhibit artworks. To us, collecting is another kind of responsibility, and one of the deepest ways to support artists.

Every piece carries a maker’s time, craftsmanship, and a fragment of cultural memory.

Since 1988, Contemporary Ceramics Gallery has built a collection spanning generations, from early masterworks to significant works by contemporary artists, reflecting the evolving story of ceramic art in Taiwan.

Through the Collection Archive on our official website, we hope these works can reach beyond the gallery, connecting more people with Taiwan’s ceramic culture.

Collecting is not only about preserving artworks. It is about keeping culture alive.

當代故事｜001：一幅題字，一份長年的支持。

在當代陶藝館，每一次展覽的背後，都有許多默默陪伴我們的人。

這些書法題字，是 洪慶峰 先生為展覽親筆題寫的賀詞。多年來，每逢展覽開幕，他總會以一幅親筆墨寶送上祝福，表達對創作者、對陶藝，以及對文化工作的肯定與支持。

洪慶峰先生長年投入臺灣文化行政工作，歷任行政院文化建設委員會副主任委員、國立臺灣工藝研究所所長、高雄市立歷史博物館館長，並曾擔任國家文化藝術基金會董事，長期見證並推動臺灣文化藝術的發展。

一件作品、一場展覽、一幅墨跡，都是一段文化記憶；而這些看似平凡的祝福，也成為當代陶藝館一路走來的重要見證。

A Calligraphy, A Lasting Gesture of Support

For many years, Qing-Feng Hong has marked our exhibition openings with handwritten calligraphy, expressing his enduring support for artists, ceramic art, and Taiwan’s cultural community.

Throughout his distinguished public service career, he served as Vice Minister of the Council for Cultural Affairs, Executive Yuan, Director of the National Taiwan Craft Research Institute, Director of the Kaohsiung Museum of History, and Board Director of the National Culture and Arts Foundation, making significant contributions to Taiwan’s cultural development.

Every artwork, every exhibition, and every brushstroke carries a piece of cultural memory. These quiet gestures of support have become an enduring part of Contemporary Ceramics Gallery’s story.
