世界在加速，而姚思妤選擇止步。
ㅤㅤㅤ
《在流動的邊境尋找棲居》延續姚思妤對「孤獨」的探問，此次她將目光推向更深遠的邊境，那個介於現實與心象的靜默地帶。
ㅤㅤㅤ
展覽以膠彩為媒，輔以金箔、銀箔等箔材，構築出一片深邃而微光流動的場域。
ㅤㅤㅤ
畫中的老屋、白鷺、孤舟與小島，是無垠境域中的靜止座標：在流動的時空裡，為漂泊的目光，留下一處可以棲居的岸。

Utilizing mineral pigments complemented by gold leaf, silver leaf, and other foils, YAO constructs a profound realm of shimmering depth.

The old houses, egrets, solitary boats, and small islands in her paintings serve as static coordinates within a boundless domain: leaving a shore where the wandering gaze may finally rest.

In YAO’s work, solitude is never synonymous with sadness.

It is a path for inward reflection and the practice of finding, amid a restless world, a place where body and mind may settle.

有時候想起往事，常常是一個閃過的畫面：一杯咖啡的味道、雨後的土壤味、窗外的一道光，或者是某個午後天空的顏色。
ㅤㅤㅤ
在《生活片段》裡，李文淑就把這些零碎日常，一片片地「補」進了畫布裡。
ㅤㅤㅤ
畫面上那些色塊，就像是我們腦海裡的記憶小格子。看起來零散抽象，但每一層疊加的顏料，都帶著生活的重量與溫度。

從「尋找家」到「融入家」，李文淑用這片藍色紀錄了心境的安放。

在作品〈雲深不知處〉中，房子不再是獨立的個體，而是如微光般隱沒於山嵐雲霧。

儘管畫面中仍保有微縮化的建築細節，但它們已不再是孤立的視覺中心，而是被包裹在廣大的情感律動中。

物我消融、寫意且富有東方氣韻的渲染，象徵著李文淑從初期返台定居時的「尋找家」，正式進展到當下心境的「融入家」。

如果回台初期的創作是為了「錨定座標」，那麼 2020 年，則是李文淑創作視角的關鍵轉折。 ㅤ

這時期的作品，聚焦於時光流逝、記憶殘影的魅力，而不追求重建消失的家園。

畫布上描繪的，並非精確的地理位置，而是一種心理上、不斷隱沒又重現的「他方」。 ㅤ

【 Between Clarity and Blur: Where Is Home? (I) — Seeking Coordinates 】

LEE Wen-Shu’s life follows a nearly symmetrical structure: 30 foundational years in Taiwan, followed by 30 years in the United States.
ㅤㅤ
This "30 + 30" experience grants her work a distinctive "dual focus." ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
In her early works after returning to Taiwan, we see her attempting to "recognize" space through her brush.
ㅤㅤ
The clear, stable geometric lines and color blocks reflect her state of mind—anchoring herself in a hometown both familiar and strange. ㅤ
ㅤㅤ
It is an effort to rebuild order, and a sincere search for a place where the soul truly rests.

Buildings are no longer just cold concrete; they are translucent projections of memory. They settle gracefully on the canvas and reshape themselves within the water's reflection.

The painting reveals a space where cultures blend and emotions flow, capturing a fleeting moment in the passage of time.

"Harbor City" reflects not only the artist’s journey but also the softest "texture of home" that lives within each of us.

▍藝術家創作自述
ㅤ
三十歲的時候我移居美國，想不到這一待便是三十個寒暑，他鄉逐漸變成了另一個故鄉。不意又在十多年前，遷回台灣。
ㅤ
當我再次回到這片土地，記憶中的輪廓與眼前的景象層層疊疊，時不時那個「他方」的家的餘溫又滲透進來。
ㅤ
這種雙重的凝視，讓我終於體悟：「家」已不再是單純棲身的地方，而是心駐足的所在。
ㅤ
在我的畫布上，房子以不同的姿態呈現：有時它以確定的線條與結構，作具象的明示；有時它消融在色彩的堆疊中，化為抽象的隱喻。這是我對「家」的反覆辨認。
ㅤ
這種在「清晰」與「模糊」之間的擺盪，正是我跨越時空、在兩個故鄉之間追尋歸屬感的心靈紀錄。

▍Artist’s Statement
ㅤㅤㅤ
At the age of thirty, I relocated to the United States. Little did I know that I would remain there for three decades; a foreign land gradually transformed into a second home. Then, unexpectedly, over ten years ago, I returned to Taiwan.
ㅤ
Returning to this soil, the contours of my memory layered upon the scenes before my eyes. Every so often, the lingering warmth of that "elsewhere"—of that other home—seeps through the surface.
ㅤ
This dual gaze has led me to a realization: "Home" is no longer merely a physical shelter, but the sanctuary where the heart finds its rest.
ㅤ
On my canvases, houses manifest in various guises: at times through defined lines and structures, offering a concrete presence; at others, they dissolve into layers of color, becoming abstract metaphors. This is my continuous process of identifying "home."
ㅤ
This oscillation between "clarity" and "blur" is a spiritual chronicle of my search for belonging across time and space, caught between two hometowns.

GATHER ART 序藝術位於高雄，鄰近駁二藝術特區，成立時間為2018年4月。「序」字除了代表開始與創新，還有一個較少為人知的美好涵義 - 在古代指送别贈言的文字，象徵了熱情分享與心意的傳遞。序藝術希望以多元有彈性的方式，呈現藝術家的作品，推廣當代藝術創作，同時也為展覽帶來更廣大的觀眾群與目標客群，並促進想法的交流。

Founded in 2018, Gather Art is a Taiwan- based platform dedicated to promote contemporary art through presenting innovative exhibitions by a select of local and international emerging artists. The art of these talented visual artists illustrate contemporary art in varying styles and genres, provide a realistic portrayal of our modern realities. We strive to create an environment that is welcoming for artist, collectors and art appreciators alike.
