📝同一件作品，換了展覽空間，看起來也可能不太一樣。

🖼️目前長興美術館展出的 Nawat Cubic 作品，過去曾在藝廊空間展出，如今來到美術館的白盒子展場，面對不同的空間條件與展示目的，照明也會有不同的思考。
󠀠
💡美術館展示也必須思考色彩怎麼被看見、畫面的肌理如何呈現還有觀眾觀看與整體空間之間的平衡，甚至是作品保存的條件，而這些都跟看展時的「光」有關。

👀很高興興美術館再次作為實務交流的場域，協助國立臺南藝術大學博物館學與古物維護研究所辦理「博物館照明設計工作坊」，一起從實際展場出發，重新看看「光」如何參與一場展覽。

📝The same artwork can look completely different in a new exhibition space.
󠀠
🖼️The works by Nawat Cubic currently on view at The Eternal Museum were previously exhibited in gallery settings. Now presented in the museum’s white-cube space, they require a different approach to lighting—one that responds to the space and the purpose of the exhibition.
󠀠
💡Museum lighting is about more than simply illuminating artworks. It shapes how we see color and texture, balances the viewing experience with the surrounding space, and even helps protect the works. In many ways, the “light” we see in an exhibition is part of the exhibition itself.

👀We’re delighted that Eternal Museum can once again serve as a space for professional exchange by supporting the Museum Lighting Design Workshop, organized by the Graduate Institute of Conservation of Cultural Relics and Museology at Tainan National University of the Arts. Starting from the exhibition space itself, we’ll take a closer look at how light helps shape an exhibition.

‼️A few friendly reminders:
1️⃣Tote bags will be prepared according to the number of visitors who actually attend. If more people arrive than originally booked, the number given out will be limited to the original reservation.
2️⃣To give us time to prepare the correct number of tote bags, same-day bookings are currently unavailable. Please confirm your booking no later than the day before your visit.
3️⃣A limited number of tote bags are available each month, and we hope more visitors will have the chance to collect one. If you’ve already received a bag, we warmly invite you to leave the next opportunity for someone who hasn’t.

📣 中秋節暨教師節連假期間，長興美術館休館。

🥮中秋節，吃月餅、賞月、和家人聚一聚，都是我們熟悉的日常。但仔細看看，即使是同一個節日，每個地方、家庭，甚至每個人，都有著不太一樣的過節方式。

📝這也讓小編想到 Nawat 的作品。他從不同文化的特色與差異出發，讓那些習以為常的文化元素，透過藝術重新被看見、重新被發現；並提醒我們，即使身處同一種文化裡，仍有許多不同的生活方式與個體間的差異。

👩‍🏫👨‍🏫而教師節，也會讓我們想起一路上那些陪伴學習、帶著我們換個角度看世界的師長。

📣 Eternal Museum will be closed during the Mid-Autumn Festival and Teachers’ Day holiday.

🥮Mooncakes, moon-gazing, and family gatherings are all familiar parts of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Yet even when celebrating the same holiday, every place, family, and individual may have their own unique traditions.

📝This reminds us of Nawat’s work. Inspired by the similarities and differences between cultures, he uses art to help us see familiar cultural elements in new ways and rediscover them through art. His work also reminds us that even within the same culture, people can have many different ways of living and seeing the world.

👩‍🏫👨‍🏫Teachers’ Day is also a time to remember the teachers who have supported us throughout our journey and encouraged us to see the world from new perspectives.

🖼在曼谷昭披耶河畔，有一個很有意思的藝術空間「River City Bangkok（RCB）」。
󠀠
🏦這裡不像我們熟悉的傳統美術館，而是把展覽、畫廊、古董、收藏與文化活動放在一起。來到這裡，可以只是看展，也可能因為遇見一件喜歡的作品，開始認識一位藝術家，甚至第一次接觸藝術收藏。
󠀠
👀這種空間對新銳藝術家來說尤其重要，而這裡也是 Nawat Cubic 藝術歷程中的重要舞台之一。
󠀠
📜2022至2026年間，Nawat曾多次以 River City Bangkok 簽約藝術家的身分，參與泰國最盛大的藝術節 Mango Art Festival，並於2025年在 RCB 舉辦首次個展《Diversity》。如果說前面提及的恰圖恰市集，是讓作品直接遇見觀眾的地方；那River City則是Nawat開始思考自己的創作可以說什麼故事，逐步建構起個人對於不同文化、族群與信仰的觀察與詮釋的地點。

📝今天走進長興美術館，也許我們看到的，是一段藝術旅程持續往前的過程。

🖼Along Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River, you’ll find a fascinating art space called River City Bangkok (RCB).
󠀠
🏦Unlike a traditional museum, RCB brings exhibitions, galleries, antiques, collectibles, and cultural events together under one roof. You might visit simply to see an exhibition, but discovering a work you love could also lead you to learn about an artist—or even take your first step into art collecting.
󠀠
👀Spaces like this are especially important for emerging artists, and RCB has played a meaningful role in Nawat Cubic’s artistic journey.
󠀠
📜From 2022 to 2026, Nawat participated several times in Thailand’s largest art festival, Mango Art Festival, as a exhibiting artist with River City Bangkok. In 2025, he held his first solo exhibition, Diversity, at RCB. If Chatuchak weekend market, as mentioned earlier, was where his artworks first encountered the public directly, RCB was where he began to think more deeply about the stories his art could tell, gradually developing his own way of observing and interpreting different cultures, communities, and beliefs.

👀今天從另外角度帶大家看《視界重構：Nawat Cubic 筆下的多元意象》展覽的誕生。

🖼️創辦人高英士先生因爲欣賞 Nawat Cubic 鮮明的色彩運用、充滿視覺張力的畫面以及融合立體主義與當代文化的創作語言，開始收藏他的作品，也希望透過實際行動支持這位泰國新銳藝術家的創作。

📜但這份收藏，從來不是為了投資，而是相信藝術最重要的價值，在於分享。一件作品，因為收藏而被保存；也因為分享，而被更多人看見。
󠀠
📝因此，美術館希望透過展覽讓更多人有機會認識 Nawat Cubic這位泰國年輕藝術家，也看見當代立體主義與多元文化交織出的藝術魅力。並讓更多人透過藝術，看見不同文化，也看見收藏的另一層意義。我們相信收藏從來不是擁有，而是一種藝術的分享。

【Collecting Art Is Not Just About Owning It—It’s About Sharing It】

👀Today, we’re taking a different perspective on how Reconstructing Vision: Nawat Cubic’s Diverse Imagery came to life.
󠀠
🖼️Our founder, Mr. Kao Ying Shih, was drawn to Nawat Cubic’s vibrant use of color, visually striking compositions, and unique artistic language that brings together Cubism and contemporary culture. This appreciation led him to begin collecting Nawat’s works and, more importantly, to support the creative journey of this emerging Thai artist.

📜However, this collection was never about investment. We believe that one of the greatest values of art lies in sharing it. Collecting allows a work of art to be preserved, while sharing gives more people the opportunity to see, experience, and appreciate it.
󠀠
📝Through this exhibition, the museum hopes to introduce more people to Nawat Cubic, a young Thai artist, and showcase the unique artistic appeal created by the intersection of contemporary Cubism and diverse cultures. We hope art can open a window into different cultures while offering a new perspective on the meaning of collecting. To us, collecting art has never been simply about ownership. It is about sharing art with others.

🖼️《視界重構：Nawat Cubic 筆下的多元意象》開展後，收到好多觀眾的好評，Nawat 鮮明的色彩與充滿張力的畫面，也讓許多第一次認識他的朋友留下深刻印象。

🎁為了讓大家看完展覽後，也能把喜歡的作品帶進日常生活，從 #9月開始，除了原本的限定資料夾外，這次長興美術館再推出全新的 Nawat 作品限定提袋！

📌為了讓更多來館觀眾都有機會收藏，提袋將採 #每月限量形式發送，送完為止。 #當月發放數量將安排於前個月底公布。

🖼️Since the opening of Reconstructing Vision: Nawat Cubic’s Diverse Imagery, we’ve received so much wonderful feedback from our visitors. Nawat’s bold colours and visually powerful compositions have made a lasting impression, especially on those discovering his work for the first time.

🎁Starting this September, there’s something new to collect! Along with our exhibition folders, the Eternal Museum is introducing a limited-edition tote bag featuring Nawat’s artwork.

📌To give visitors throughout the exhibition a chance to take one home, Tote bags will be distributed in monthly limited quantities while supplies last. The allocation for each month will be announced at the end of the previous month.

(2) exhibition folder (choose one of two designs available during each period)
