　　臺灣紅茶股份有限公司 (the Formosa Black Tea Co., Ltd.)創立於1937年，創立之初就直接大量外銷紅茶到歐洲及美洲等地，並曾獲當時臺灣總督府所頒發再製紅茶特等賞，成為皇室飲用的「獻上茶」，五Ｏ年代外銷綠茶到北非，六Ｏ年代率先引進日本煎茶技術，造就七Ｏ年代台灣煎茶銷日的輝煌成績，迄今每年仍持續外銷茶葉，是臺灣歷史最悠舊的茶業公司之一。
　　臺灣紅茶公司近七十年的發展歷程，猶如台灣茶業發展史的縮影，臺灣紅茶公司近年來積極投入整理歷史資料及茶產業文物蒐集整理等工作，將原有部分的廠房設備重新規劃，成立「臺紅茶業文化館」，介紹台灣茶產業的歷史與演進，在這裡可以看到手工時代製茶的過程、臺灣製茶業現代化的演進過程、茶葉潮流演變的歷史，以及臺灣紅茶昔日大量外銷的輝煌紀錄。
