✨🐝 Solo exhibition: “Apis Mellifica – الطريق إلى النحل” 🐝✨

We are delighted to invite you to the opening of Chahrazed Fekih’s solo exhibition.

Join us on April 17th from 5 PM at Galerie A.Gorgi.

Born in 1979, Chahrazed Fekih is a Tunisian visual artist who lives and works in Paris. She taught at the Institut Supérieur des Beaux-Arts de Tunis (ISBAT) from 2006 to 2023. Her work has been featured in numerous national and international exhibitions.

It was during the global COVID-19 pandemic that her delicate and introspective “visual thoughts” emerged with striking relevance, first revealed in her solo exhibition “Exaltation… mystères de la vie” in 2021.

Deeply attuned to ecological questions, Chahrazed unveils through fine layers of ink a world of reimagined living forms—creatures both fragile and powerful. With almost magical precision, she transforms the most feared into something unexpectedly captivating, revealing a beauty that feels both ephemeral and essential.

Her evolving visual ecosystem unfolds like a quiet symbiosis of “forces of life,” where each form seems to breathe, grow, and connect. Today, under the Parisian sky, she continues—like a bee—to gather, transform, and cultivate the living into new artistic expressions.

APPEL À PARTICIPATION EXPOSITION

Les Métiers est une galerie-boutique fondée par Ali Bellagha et son épouse Jacqueline, que son fondateur appelait affectueusement El Hanout. Ce lieu emblématique a durablement marqué le paysage culturel par son engagement en faveur des savoir-faire artisanaux et du dialogue entre artisanat et création artistique.

À travers cette exposition, la Galerie A Gorgi invite les artistes à proposer une relecture contemporaine des objets, techniques et matériaux issus des métiers traditionnels : bois sculpté et gravé, mosaïque, céramique, ferronnerie, pierre, peinture sur verre. Les propositions devront s’inscrire dans une démarche artistique contemporaine, privilégiant l’interprétation et la transformation plutôt que la reproduction.

Ouvert aux artistes de toutes générations, le projet interroge les notions de transmission, de mémoire et de création, dans un esprit de continuité entre héritage et regard actuel.

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION – EXHIBITION

Les Métiers is a galerie-boutique founded by Ali Bellagha and his wife Jacqueline, affectionately referred to by its founder as El Hanout. This emblematic space has left a lasting mark on the cultural landscape through its commitment to artisanal know-how and to fostering dialogue between craftsmanship and artistic creation.

Through this exhibition, Galerie A Gorgi invites artists to propose a contemporary reinterpretation of objects, techniques, and materials drawn from traditional crafts, including carved and engraved wood, mosaic, ceramics, metalwork, stone, and glass painting. The proposals should be rooted in a contemporary artistic approach, favoring interpretation and transformation rather than reproduction.

Open to artists of all generations, the project explores notions of transmission, memory, and creation in a spirit of continuity between heritage and a contemporary perspective.
