Hidden Valley
A Solo Exhibition by Duairak Padungvichean

Through this series of work, Duairak explores her inner self. Inspired by the nature and landscapes she has seen, Duairak invites you to join her on this journey to the Hidden Valley.
Hidden Valley is a place tucked in between mountain ranges and different landscapes. It's a place that can't be easily found, hidden away from the outside world. It requires time, dedication, and a little bit of risk taking to discover these little pockets within the vast landscape. This exhibition explores that theme by reflecting Duairak's journey of discovering herself, which sits within her like a Hidden Valley. She portrays a search for who she is through this whimsical landscape and its creatures, inspired by her own personal experiences and things that have come through her life.
For Duairak, the path has never been certain, and there were times she found herself unsure of which direction to take. But it is the curiosity and faith in herself that kept pushing her forward in this journey. In the end, each step and decision led her closer to this Hidden Valley, a place that, for her, finally feels comfortable and snug after a long search.

ในผลงานชุดนี้ ด้วยรักได้สำรวจตัวตนของเธอ เธอได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากธรรมชาติและ ทิวทัศน์ที่เธอได้พบเห็น ด้วยรักขอเชิญคุณร่วมเดินทางไปกับเธอสู่ Hidden Valley
Hidden Valley คือสถานที่ที่ซ่อนอยู่ระหว่างหุบเขา หรือ ภูมิทัศน์ต่างๆ เป็นสถานที่ที่มักจะซ่อนตัวอยู่ห่างไกลจากโลกภายนอก และ ไม่สามารถค้นเจอได้ง่ายๆ การจะค้นพบมุมเล็กๆ เหล่านี้ในภูมิทัศน์อันกว้างใหญ่นั้น ต้องอาศัยทั้ง เวลา ความมุ่งมั่น และ ความกล้า ในนิทรรศการนี้ ด้วยรักจึงอยากที่จะถ่ายทอดแนวคิดดังกล่าว โดยสะท้อนการเดินทางค้นหาตัวตนของเธอ เหมือนการเดินทางค้นหา Hidden Valley เธอถ่ายทอดการค้นหาตัวตนผ่านทิวทัศน์ที่ดูเหมือนความฝัน และ ตัวสัตว์ประหลาดต่างๆ ในผลงานของเธอ ซึ่งด้วยรักมักจะได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว และ สิ่งต่างๆ ที่ผ่านเข้ามาในชีวิตของเธอ
สำหรับด้วยรักแล้ว เส้นทางนี้ไม่เคยแน่นอน และ มีหลายครั้ง ที่เธอรู้สึกไม่แน่ใจว่า เธอควรเลือกเดินไปทางไหน แต่ความอยากรู้อยากเห็นและความเชื่อมั่นในตัวเอง เป็นสิ่งที่ผลักดันให้เธอก้าวต่อไปในการเดินทางครั้งนี้ ท้ายที่สุดแล้ว ทุกก้าว และ ทุกการตัดสินใจได้นำพาเธอเข้าใกล้ Hidden Valley มากขึ้น สถานที่ที่สำหรับเธอแล้ว เป็นสถานที่ที่ให้ความรู้สึกอบอุ่น และ สบายใจ หลังจากการเดินทางอันยาวนาน
