The Billion-View Archipelago This journey begins at the northern tip of Koh Yao Noi, where a legendary cape and beach—ranked among the Top 25 Beaches in the World—opens to sweeping views of limestone islands scattered across the sea.
You’ll pass peaceful fishing bays where long-tail boats rest in neat lines, then drift through local neighborhoods alive with island life. Cafés, small restaurants, resorts, and villas quietly line Pa Sai and Klong Jark beaches, blending nature with easy seaside living.
Along the way, highlights include the Sustainable Garden at Six Senses and the striking architecture of ÀNI, an ultra-luxury private villa estate whose contemporary design carries a refined Asian spirit. From this stretch, the archipelago unfolds before you — a panoramic, truly “billion-dollar” view.
Nearby, tucked beside Six Senses, lies a tiny hidden beach — loved by locals for its calm and seclusion. If time allows, it’s the perfect quiet stop. The landscape at the island’s northern end rises into mountains over 250 meters high, cascading down toward rice fields in the center and west of the island.
This is also where many island communities make their home.
The route’s first climb begins around Six Senses, about 5 km from Laem Sai Pier. It winds through palm groves, passes Laluna Pizza, and shifts mood again at Tha Khao Pier, where canals are lined with fishing boats — a scene straight from a watercolor painting. Beyond the pier, the road turns to red earth, once just a motorcycle track used by rubber tappers.
You continue through sweeping rubber forests and gentle valleys before rejoining the concrete road toward the island’s main ridge.
Tha Khao remains one of Koh Yao Noi’s oldest communities, once a primary arrival point for boats from Krabi and Phang-Nga.
The final stretch — 4.67 km to Paradise and TreeHouse Resort — leads into national park land. The last 2 km become a natural dirt road, where construction is restricted and the forest grows wild. Here you may encounter ancient plants such as giant pandanus, primitive palms, and other rare coastal species.
This is the longest route on the island — perfect for long runs, scenic hikes, or medium-distance cycling there and back — rewarded throughout by world-class views.
