Mandalay door frame at Under the Bo warehouse. Circa 1950.
Total: 310 cm highx 130 cm wide.
Opening: 163 high x 88 cm wide.
The Lion head on a solid wood stand is originally a roof peak from a village of Kerala, Southern India. Weathered teak wood. 98 cm high + stand. See it in 2 first comments.

Pair of Turkmen silver-gilt temple pendants (asyk), composed of pierced openwork plaques set with carnelian cabochons and fitted with articulated chain suspensions terminating in hollow silver bells. Worn as part of a woman’s ceremonial headdress. Turkmenistan, late 19th–early 20th century.

Amongst these recently acquired objects, you will find this bronze mirror handle dating from the Majapahit empire, an Hindu-Buddhist thalassocraty in Southeast Asia, based on the island of Java. It is cast into the shape of a stylized bird. The circular bottom part was attached to an ancient bronze mirror, now missing. Circa 12-14th century. Width 15.5cm.
