สำหรับ Playlist from Practitioners ครั้งสุดท้าย เราชวนย้อนกลับไปฟังศิลปินและผลงานต่างๆ ที่เคยเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของพื้นที่ที่เราแบ่งปันร่วมกันมาตลอดทศวรรษที่ผ่านมา ผ่านเสียงและดนตรี ตั้งแต่เพลงประกอบภาพยนตร์ เพลงจากการแสดงต่างๆ ไปจนถึงความทรงจำทางเสียงอื่นๆ ที่ยังคงอยู่กับเรา

"I see art as a practice—it's about how each person develops their way of working, rather than deciding whether something qualifies as art or not. For example, we might say an artificial tree isn't art because it can't be sold as one, or that a certain object isn't beautiful enough and is therefore just decoration. But those distinctions are really just systems of classification. For me, making a zine like this is a phase of self-reflection. It allows me to continue and develop my practice in a very direct way. Dusadee Huntrakul presents his latest project, Between a Girl and Humming Toads (มีเด็กผู้ชายสองคน), as part of the 25th Silpa Bhirasri Creativity Grants Exhibition at the Art Centre, Silpakorn University, on view through October 3, 2026.

'Between a Girl and Humming Toads (มีเด็กผู้ชายสองคน) brings together a series of forms and processes that Huntrakul has long wanted to explore but had never previously worked with. Moving between things made on his own and together with his son, the project encompasses oil painting, a 3D-animated music video, direct bronze and brass casting from clay sculptures, live performance, and the presentation of his son’s drawings.

Together, these different forms unfold as an open-ended process of experimentation—moving between the artist’s own practice and making with his son, and between drawing, sculpture, painting, moving image, music, and performance.

You can also listen to music by Dusadee Huntrakul, including a song made together with his son, as part of Experimental Library Music at BANGKOK CITYCITY GALLERY, Thursday–Saturday, 13:00–18:00 until August 22, 2026.

ดุษฎี ฮันตระกูล นำเสนอผลงานล่าสุด มีเด็กผู้ชายสองคน (Between a Girl and Humming Toads) ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ นิทรรศการทุนสร้างสรรค์ศิลป์ พีระศรี ครั้งที่ 25 ณ หอศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร จัดแสดงถึงวันที่ 3 ตุลาคม 2569

มีเด็กผู้ชายสองคน (Between a Girl and Humming Toads) รวบรวมรูปแบบและกระบวนการสร้างงานหลายอย่างที่ดุษฎีอยากทดลองมาโดยตลอด แต่ยังไม่เคยมีโอกาสได้ทำมาก่อน ทั้งสิ่งที่เขาทำด้วยตัวเองและทำร่วมกับลูกชาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นจิตรกรรมสีน้ำมัน มิวสิควิดีโออนิเมชัน 3 มิติ การหล่อบรอนซ์และทองเหลืองโดยตรงจากประติมากรรมดินเหนียว การแสดงสด ตลอดจนการนำเสนอผลงานวาดเส้นของลูกชาย

รูปแบบที่แตกต่างเหล่านี้ค่อยๆ คลี่ออกผ่านกระบวนการทดลองที่เปิดกว้าง เคลื่อนไปมาระหว่างการทำงานของศิลปินกับการสร้างงานร่วมกับลูกชาย และระหว่างการวาดเส้น ประติมากรรม จิตรกรรม ภาพเคลื่อนไหว ดนตรี และการแสดง

Saowakhon Chotikaseth uses the cello as a medium to explore and express her inner thoughts and emotions across different stages of her life. Blending theatre and music, she creates narrative-based performances under the name Yui Cello. In addition to her solo practice, she has collaborated with fellow artists as a member of the collective "Abhivata Band". Saowakhon is also a composer and music educator for children. She develops music programs for children with special needs.

"Every moment of transition throughout our lives can be compared to a “chrysalis stage.” It can be a safe and comforting space, so warm that we try to hold on to it, unwilling to leave. Or it can become a confining trap, one we struggle with all our strength to break free from..."

Moon Chrysalis ระยะดักแด้ is an experimental musical storytelling performance by Yui Cello, featuring special guest B4 GONE.

เสาวคล โชติกเศรษฐ์ ใช้เชลโลสร้างสรรค์ผลงานที่สะท้อนความคิดและความรู้สึกภายในของตนเองในแต่ละช่วงชีวิต โดยผสมผสานศิลปะการละครและดนตรีเข้ากับการเล่าเรื่อง ผ่านผลงานในนาม Yui Cello นอกเหนือจากการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานเดี่ยวแล้ว เธอยังมีโอกาสร่วมสร้างงานกับเพื่อนศิลปินในนาม “วงอภิวาท” เสาวคลยังเป็นนักประพันธ์เพลงและครูสอนดนตรีสำหรับเด็ก รวมถึงเป็นผู้พัฒนาโครงการดนตรีสำหรับเด็กที่มีความต้องการพิเศษ

TAWMAYUI is the alias of Phongsak Wansiri [Dew], a musician and artist from the southern Isan border region. He refers to the khaen—an instrument that has become almost like an organ of his own body—as his “Khaen Religion.”Growing up surrounded by spirit religion, ritual music, and ancestral beliefs, he has gradually shaped and experimented with what already exists around him—exploring journeys, returns, and the recurring movement of things that disappear and come back.

In Breath in Passing, he explores the breath as it passes into another state of being. Whose voice is it that we hear? Through the soundscape of folk music and the breath of his own body, he explores the self—where breath becomes sound, and sound gradually becomes a space. His relationship with improvisation and the energy of each passing moment becomes part of this exploration. Perhaps it is not merely sound. The sound of the khaen may be another language—one that speaks through breath, body, memory, and the space between.

TAWMAYUI คือนามเเฝงของ พงษ์ศักดิ์ วันศรี [ดิว] ศิลปินนักดนตรีชายแดนอีสานใต้ ผู้ตั้งตนเรียกสิ่งที่เสมือนอวัยวะหนึ่งของเขาไปเเล้วว่า ”ศาสนาเเคน“ และ เขาเติบโตมากับศาสนาผี ดนตรีพิธีกรรม ความเชื่อ ซึ่งทำให้เขาได้หล่อหลอม และทดลองกับสิ่งที่มีอยู่ การเดินทางและการหวนคืนกลับของบางสิ่งบางอย่าง

Breath in passing เขาสำรวจลมหายใจที่ผันผ่านเข้าสู่สภาวะอีกสภาวะหนึ่ง เสียงที่ได้ยินนั้นคือเสียงของใครกัน สำรวจตัวเองผ่านซุ้มเสียงของดนตรีพื้นบ้าน เเละลมหายใจของตัวเอง ลมหายใจที่กลายเป็นเสียง เเล้วเสียงค่อยๆ กลายเป็นพื้นที่ ความสัมพันธ์กับการ Improvisation กับ Enegy ของช่วงเวลานั้น อาจไม่ใช่เสียงแค่เพียงอย่างเดียว เเต่เสียงแคนอาจจะเป็นอีกภาษาหนึ่ง
