박재희는 중학교시절 안산인 조규열에게 사사하며 자신의 작품 세계를 탄탄하게 구축했다는 평가를 받고 있다. 현재 태국과 홍콩에서 주로 활동하며 동양성을 서양화적인 표현기법으로 표현한다. 박재희의 작품에는 별로 없으면서도 가득하게 가득하면서도 허한 듯 한 노장사상이 녹아 있으며, 더불어서 삶을 밝게 보려는 명랑성이 함께 담겨 있다. 이는 긍정적이고 낙천적인 그의 세계관이 그대로 나타난 것이라 할 수 있다. 실제로 그의 동물원 연작과 낙원 연작은 홍콩 경매장과 태국 현지에서 애호가들의 호평을 받고 있다.
Park Jae-hee is recognized for having established a distinctive and well-developed artistic vision under the mentorship of Cho Gyu-yeol, an artist from Ansan, during his middle school years.
Currently based between Thailand and Hong Kong, Park expresses Eastern aesthetics through the language and techniques of Western painting. His works embody the spirit of Lao-Zhuang philosophy (Taoist thought), conveying a paradoxical sense of both fullness and emptiness. At the same time, they radiate a cheerful optimism and a hopeful outlook on life.
This harmonious balance reflects the artist's positive and optimistic worldview. His acclaimed series, Zoo and Paradise, have received favorable recognition from collectors and art enthusiasts at Hong Kong auction houses as well as in Thailand.
