Današnji 27. april je praznični dan tako za Slovenijo kot za Nizozemsko. Pri nas obeležujemo dan boja proti okupatorju, medtem ko Nizozemci praznujejo Koningsdag (Kraljev dan).
Ob tej priložnosti napovedujemo, da bomo v Galeriji Jakopič v sodelovanju s Fotomuseum Den Haag čez natanko mesec dni odprli pregledno razstavo nizozemskega fotografa Roba Hornstre Običajni ljudje, ki bo vključevala tudi dela iz serije Evropejci, katere del je fotograf ustvaril tudi v Sloveniji.
Razstava Običajni ljudje bo tokrat prvič na ogled mednarodni javnosti, fotografije Evropejcev, nastale v Sloveniji, pa bodo predstavljene premierno.
Zabeležite si 27. maj, saj bomo pred uradnim odprtjem pripravili tudi pogovor z Robom Hornstro in bo na voljo za podpisovanje obrazstavnih publikacij.

Today, April 27, is a public holiday in both Slovenia and the Netherlands. Here, we commemorate the Day of Resistance Against the Occupier, while the Dutch celebrate Koningsdag (King’s Day).
We would like to take this opportunity to announce that in exactly one month, the Jakopič Gallery in collaboration with Fotomuseum Den Haag will open a retrospective exhibition by Dutch photographer Rob Hornstra titled Ordinary People, which will also include works from the series Europeans, part of which the photographer created in Slovenia.
This will be the first time the Ordinary People exhibition is on view to an international audience, and the photographs of Europeans taken in Slovenia will be also presented for the first time.
Mark your calendars for May 27, as we will also host a conversation with Rob Hornstra prior to the official opening, and he will be available to sign exhibition publications.
