From identities morphing between family childhood pictures and โ€œkawaiiโ€ action figures to artists who scanned themselves as avatars, reflecting on issues of displacement and belonging within a game engine.

Featuring artists of different ages, backgrounds and experiences, from Japan to the US, the programme offers wider perspectives from different voices on the role of contemporary images and their increasing power over us.
