Dong Lee Investment Private Limited was incorporated in 1993 by Ms Wei Dong with the vision to promote the quintessence of Chinese Art and Craft in Singapore and South-East Asia as well as support, promote and develop Singapore artists. To date, apart from the numerous successful major art and craft exhibitions showcasing the works of China’s national masters, our company has netted in preliminary

dividends from the million dollar major venture: the cultivation and education of two brilliant young pianists. Both young pianists are recipients of major national and international prizes, the highlight of which is the “Talented Young Musician Bursary” and "Presentation and Promotion Grant" by the National Arts Council in Singapore. Between 1993 and 2001, the company was located along Pagoda Street. From 2001 to 2008, the company moved and expanded to three shops at Chinatown Point-Singapore Handicraft Centre. Between 2009 and 2014, the company moved to Orchard Road. The company organized a series of exhibitions about paintings inside glass, ink painting, and oil paintings. In 2014, the company was rebranded as Crystal Creations Pte Ltd. with a focus on designing and collecting works of art that are done by traditional Chinese folk art methods. The company also established a studio at Waterloo Centre. From 2018 to 2021, the company moved to Tanglin Mall. The company hosted two annual Chinese art-themed pop-ups at Tanglin Mall. From 2021, the company is in the process of re-organizing itself into a private collection museum to share arts of China that were collected in Singapore between 1990 and 2010.

Our Story

Contemporary Chinese Art by Traditional Methods, by Living Artists Crystal Creations curates contemporary Chinese art created using traditional methods of carving and painting by living artists. We started our journey as Chinese immigrants to Singapore, opening a collecting house for promoting Chinese seafaring artists (haipai 海派) on the second floor of a Pagoda Street shophouse in 1993. Today, we are one of few Chinese art and antiques brick-and-mortar houses still standing in Singapore. We organize two major annual events in the Tanglin neighborhood every year. From appraising to zoomorphic art, these promising Chinese artists will make your space more delightful and dignified.
