Arts House Limited is the place manager for Civic District, a lively precinct and vibrant arts and culture destination in Singapore.

The Civic District is where Singapore’s historical, architectural and cultural heritage started. Today, it is the arts and cultural heart of Singapore. It is home to some of the most significant historic buildings and spaces, such as the Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall, Queen Elizabeth Walk and the Padang. Many of these buildings have been transformed into arts and cultural institutions

, including the new National Gallery Singapore (the former Supreme Court and City Hall), the Asian Civilisations Museum (the former Empress Place Building) and the Arts House (the former Old Parliament House). In the surrounding areas of these institutions are monuments and public artworks nestled within lush greenery. Visitors can gather and also enjoy performances and activities at the open lawn areas amidst the garden setting.

Through a series of observation prompts and guided activities, explore different ways of seeing through composition, symmetry, patterns, light, atmosphere and little details that often go unnoticed.
