IT’S A WRAP

Thank you to everyone that attended the exhibitions, dropped us notes of congratulations or kind comments. We appreciate it very much indeed.

It has been a rewarding experience, enriched by meeting so many colourful people and new collectors in NY.

So, now all that is left to do is send the amazing works of Kaṉparkanya - The Wanampi (A solo exhibition by Timo Hogan) and Paltjuliri (A solo exhibition by Kunmanara Patju Presley) to their new permanent homes.

For those that missed it, but would like to know more, drop us a DM and we will share more on these two rather important and beautiful exhibitions, images of events and openings and 3D visuals of the exhibition space.

Till next time, over and out from us.

🎨 New Private Treaty Arrivals at ReDot Fine Art Gallery - https://mailchi.mp/redotgallery/private-treaty-april

Our newly relaunched Private Treaty platform showcases an exceptional selection of museum-quality works we have been entrusted to sell. From rare early master pieces and powerful Tingari paintings by senior desert giants, to important contemporary pieces by leading living artists such as Mantua Nangala and Elizabeth Mbitjana Pitijana, these works represent some of the finest Indigenous Australian art available today.

⭐REDOT FINE ART GALLERY SPOLIGHT | Kunmanara Patju PRESLEY⭐ - https://mailchi.mp/redotgallery/spotlight-patju-presley

Kunmanara Patju Presley (1945–2025) was a senior Pitjantjatjara lawman whose work offers a rare, rhythmic window into the Spinifex Country. His signature fields of vibrant dots transcend simple aesthetics, acting as "mesmerising assurance" of ancient Tjukurpa (creation stories).

This month's SPOTLIGHT brings you a rare opportunity to own a work by this important deceased artist.

⭐REDOT FINE ART GALLERY SPOLIGHT | Timo HOGAN⭐ - https://mailchi.mp/redotgallery/spotlight-timo-hogan

Buying Timo Hogan’s art means owning a "masterwork" of contemporary Indigenous storytelling. As the 2021 NATSIAA winner, his minimalist, textural depictions of Lake Baker offer a "profound presence" that bridges ancient Tjukurpa with modern aesthetics.

This is your chance!!!

If you have been thinking of coming to see the recently opened exhibition of Spinifex art at the National Arts Club this weekend (or next week), you have a double incentive now to make your way down.

A leisurely 15 min walk away, on Cooper Square, there is an amazing exhibition of Papunya Tula Artists, that we are honoured to have been one of a handful of authorised dealers over the years, showing at the Grey Art Museum, part of the NYU.

It is a travelling show from the Kluge Ruhe, from the collection of their main donor (with some special additions), and is simply breathtaking in its depth and importance. It is the genesis of the modern Indigenous art movement, and like a great relay team, the baton passes from them to Spinifex, that is not championing a new generation of masters….

They are definitely worth seeing as a joint excursion, I promise it will not disappoint.

URL for the Grey Art Museum show is https://greyartmuseum.nyu.edu/, for more information and opening hours….

As for us.. see below….

Exhibition Details:
Title: Kaṉparkanya - The Wanampi (A solo exhibition by Timo Hogan) (Grand Gallery)
Title: Paltjuliri (A solo exhibition by Kunmanara Patju Presley) (East & West Gallery)

Venue: The National Arts Club (NAC), 15 Gramercy Park South, New York, NY 10003
Dates: March 4 – April 23, 2026

If you want more information about opening hours, the works, the stories.. anything - drop us a DM and we will share more on these two rather important and beautiful exhibitions.

Congratulations to the Tarnanthi Festival on reaching its 10th anniversary in 2025. It's a massive achievement that underscores its vital role as a national leader in celebrating contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art.

Kudos to BHP, the lead sponsor, for its monetary support, to the Art Gallery of South Australia (AGSA) for its vision and the tireless efforts of Nici Cumpston, curator of this immense project.
