Evolution in Sweden Biannual Meetings The general FB-page for the biannual national meetings for evolutionary biologists in Sweden. This is the website for the Evolution in Sweden Biannual Meetings

In 2018 the meeting will be held at the Swedish Museum of Natural History and organized by the Department of Zoology, Stockholm University.

We have now decided on the 24 talks to be given at the meeting, using a double-blind process of evaluation. The quality of abstracts was overall very high, and unfortunately many highly interesting talks had to be declined due to lack of space. Hopefully we will see many of them in poster form. Exciting program to follow soon!

Finally time to mark your calendars! Evolution in Sweden 2018 will take place in Stockholm January 10-11 2018. The meeting will be co-organized between Stockholm University and the Natural History Museum, with lectures taking place at Stora Hörsalen in the Museum. More information later!

We have now changed the name of this page to make it more general, so that it can be used in the future for announcements of the forthcoming biannual "Evolution in Sweden"'-meetings. We have made Sören Nylin and Christopher Wheat to new administrators, as Stockholm University will organize the next "Evolution in Sweden"-meeting in 2018! See you there?
