Europe's largest open-air graffiti/street art wall of fame expo featuring some of the best artists from Sweden, Europe and around the world. Vernissage & exhibition 24/7, 365 days a year. Snösätra is a rural industrial area in the outskirts of Rågsved, south of Stockholm. It has murals full of graffiti and street art covering 100% of the surface. Here you can paint big or small at the open walls.
To get a wall at the "wall of fame" you need to send a request or apply for the yearly festival called Spring beast, which is in the end of may. (Due to Covid-19 we need to work inside the aloud perimeters, for now.) Can this place really exist in overly orderly Sweden? Well, it does and it´s legal thanks to a non-profit organization, art, music, dance and cultural organizations and the companies allowing their walls to be painted. The transformation turning Snösätra gränd from a dark and not so safe place even at the daytime, into a realm of artistic freedom was on a request by (Carina R.I.P.) to her husband Percy whom got in contact with several artists to create the first murals. We want to thank all people who made it possible from the beginning in 2012 to make this dream come true for all of us. Carina (R.I.P. -2018) initiative founder and loved by all, had a love for everyone, specially for music and graffiti. Percy, self claimed sheriff in the area and carinas former husband.
