Experience the thrilling world of eSports. Our vision:
Documenting eSport history. Where and how it started in the early 1980’s and its evolution into the competitions we have today. We want to provide a portal of knowledge for both players and the general public. Strengthening the gaming culture. The general public lacks awareness of the eSport community and we want to make it easy for everyone
to understand and support the eSport culture. Breaking the norms. Not only do we want to be the first museum for eSports, we also want to break traditional boundaries for how exhibitions are presented by using equipment like VR, AR and 360°. The experience:
Through VR recordings we will present interviews with various stars of eSport, local players and game developers. We will also offer the visitors the experience of being in different places such as game studios, eSport stages, E3 and other events. New technology will help us create a more interactive museum by letting the visitors use their smartphones to interact with the exhibition via iBeacons/RFID, motion capture devices, AR and 360° movies. A portal for learning both in the museum and online through an easily accessible digital platform. This will include information on eSport, tutorials on how to stream and much more. A physical exhibition showing how eSport has affected the cosplay scene, the development of computer equipment and other related areas. Try out area with computers and consoles where visitors can experience both old and new eSport games. Gift shop with all types of swag, new and retro. There is no store in Sweden or the Nordic countries that has a big assortment so we want to fill that void. Behind MeH are Spelens hus, Bombina Bombast and Eutaku.
