Enligt en beräkning från organisationen LIFE, kan så många som 100 000 laxar hamna i industritrålarnas nät varje år. Ett antal som, om det stämmer, kan vara en av anledningarna till laxens minskning. 🐟

Watching the wonderful salmon play in our backyard, it breaks our hearts to see the opposite riverbank in front of Ebbamåla.

This is the fish passage built and operated by the County Administrative Board (Länstyrelsen) in Blekinge.
The construction of this fish passage, carried out by Länstyrelsen in Blekinge around the year 2000, was done without permission from the landowners, violating nearly every law and regulation related to private property and environmental concerns.
From day one, they knew that the construction was flawed, and they have since attempted to conceal this fact from the public.
We have been fighting this issue for five years to ensure that salmon can swim freely. Länstyrelsen has admitted several times that it's a poorly designed structure, and they have been aware of its deficiencies for over ten years, yet no action has been taken on their part.
Please help us stand up against the misguided bureaucrats at Länstyrelsen in Blekinge, who are doing everything possible to destroy the salmon’s habitat and threaten those of us who dare to speak out by continuously submitting our case to the court.
We are submitting our case to Mark och Miljödomstolen, just like we have done on previous occasions, for the right reasons and prioritizing the salmon and common sense. We are filing a complaint against Länstyrelsen in Blekinge for illegal water activities, violations of the Environmental Code, violations of the Administrative Procedure Act, infringement of private property rights, illegal use of another person's property, and violations of the Vattendomstolen court's ruling from 1997, as well as the Supreme Court's ruling from 1936.
Please note that this is more than the 10th lawsuit against the County Administrative Board, and they have lost nearly all other cases.

The time of the year to watch the big Salmon and seatrout spawning in the river. Right in the backyard in Ebbamåla Bruk. What a fantastic view.❤️❤️ the amount is bigger than ever before thank to the demolition off Marieberg hydropower station and most of the salmon are 3 years old, witch means they are the first generation that returns to the upper parts of the river without getting stucked downstream Marieberg😀❤️

Are you aware that back in days before the hydropower got installed in the river, the workers were supplied with salmon 7 days a week. It all disappeared with the hydropower and lack of fish passage.

Now we hope that länstyrelsen in Blekinge will do the same with their fish passage in Ebbamåla they established illegally in beginning of 2000.
