Throughout the summer, a curated selection of photographic works by Johan Lindeberg is on display at Lydmar Hotel, presented by The PhotoGallery.

An internationally acclaimed creative force, Johan Lindeberg’s work spans fashion, photography, design, and storytelling. Known for his distinctive visual language and uncompromising artistic vision, he creates images that feel both deeply personal and undeniably iconic.

Terry O’Neill /Brigitte Bardot
The Legend of Frenchie King, 1971 & Shalako, 1968

Few subjects captured the freedom, beauty, and effortless charisma of the 1960s and early 1970s like Brigitte Bardot. Terry O’Neill photographed her during a defining period of her film career, capturing not only the star herself, but the atmosphere around her. Unguarded, cinematic and unmistakably modern.

O’Neill photographed Bardot on the set of The Legend of Frenchie King in Spain 1971, creating the now-famous image of her smoking a cigar. Today, it is considered one of his most collectible Bardot photographs.
O’Neill later recalled that during rehearsals for The Legend of Frenchie King, he noticed that when the wind blew there was the potential for a great picture. When the moment came, he had only one frame left. One shot at it. Suddenly, the wind swept Bardot’s hair across her face, and he knew it was a knockout.
Together, these two works reveal the rare ease between photographer and icon. Bardot’s independence, sensuality and natural presence, captured through O’Neill’s instinct for the decisive moment.

Conceptual Art Of Living

This summer, The PhotoGallery presents Conceptual Art Of Living, a living summer exhibition where art, photography, design and carefully selected objects come together in an inspiring setting.

It is also the first sneak peek of our new sister brand, CAOL, a concept created around the way we live with art, design and beautiful objects in our homes and spaces.

For us, art is more than something to look at on a wall. We live with it. We are inspired by it. We let it become part of our rooms, our atmosphere and our everyday life.

Throughout the summer, we will present a curated mix of new artists, selected works, iconic photography and design pieces. The gallery shop will also be filled with new interior details, gifts and handpicked objects for the home.

And we want you to stay a little longer. During opening hours, you can enjoy coffee, chocolate and later this summer also ice cream.

FELINE by Tim Flach

There is something magnetic about the way Tim Flach photographs animals. In his latest project, FELINE, the cat becomes more than a subject. It becomes an icon of beauty, mystery, instinct and character.

Known for his emotionally charged animal portraits, Flach has spent his career revealing the individuality and sentience of the creatures in front of his lens. With FELINE, he turns that unmistakable vision toward one of humanity’s most captivating companions: the cat.

Recently premiered at Photo London and warmly received, selected images from FELINE are now available as limited fine art prints. Created for collectors, interiors and cat lovers who want to live with these remarkable portraits every day. Here are a few examples from the collection.

The project has also been released as a major art book, featuring over 170 photographs and exploring the evolution, history and cultural fascination surrounding felines.

On World Art Day, we celebrate art as a universal language. One that inspires, connects, and brings people together across cultures.

Established to highlight the importance of creativity and freedom of expression, the day is celebrated on April 15 in honor of Leonardo da Vinci. A symbol of artistic curiosity and innovation.

Art has always influenced art. Some of the most iconic photographers have been inspired by great artists — and even portrayed them. Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí by Kary H Lash and Andy Warhol by Albert Watson are just a few examples.

In Halland, there are many places to experience great art — from galleries to public spaces. is a great resource for discovering inspiring locations.
