Featured on ARTE & ZDF, she works from studio to ICEHOTEL and is author of the book KALLA BAD. The art of VAGNELIND is to be found around the world, in both official and private collections. Painting has always been a major part of her life; as has her obsession with people. Her signature style is large portraits where she depicts people and their stories sculpturally with wide brushes and thick o
il color, somewhere in the borderland between 2D and 3D. She invents fictional people, with unique personalities and stories. She hand writes the story on the reverse of the canvas to describe the process of creation for the buyer. Art University Australia: She got invited to study with students in their fourth year from all over the world at RMIT University in Australia. She left her job as a designer and moved to Melbourne to develop and grow as an artist. Trained by a master in how to paint with black ink. She has been drawing with coal-black ink her whole life. After a lot of traveling to China, she decided to move to a small village, Pinghu, to learn how to paint with Chinese ink with unique handmade brushes. In addition to her passion for art, she is fascinated by water in all forms, like snow and ice. She loves adventures in nature; it is what makes her feel alive and what inspires her work in the studio. She is a cold bath expert, the author of the book KALLA BAD, a lecturer, and an ice sculptor for ICEHOTEL where she has built several suites. She won an international snow sculpture competition in January 2021. ART STUDIO | SHOWROOM for booked appointents | SWEDEN
