Detriti Gallery is delighted to invite artists based in Västra Götaland, or with a connection to the region, to apply for Second Thought, a group exhibition exploring the creative and political potential of revision.
Through their practice, artists continuously revisit, challenge, and reframe their own work, as well as personal and collective experiences. A second thought may take shape in a layer of paint, in a textural change, in an uncompleted sketch, in a step back or a sudden jump forward.
We invite works that reflect on identity, reinterpretation, and revision as ways to engage with shifting perspectives and possible truths.

Selected artists will exhibit from 18 September to 20 October 2025.
