Illustration and most of the visual arts have been a longtime fascination of mine. Yet my lack of innate drawing talent and societal discouragement delayed my dive into the field. However, the dream of becoming an artist always lingered. One day, I realized that the power to shape my life was mine alone. Despite not being in the prime of my youth, I chose to change my career and commit entirely to
art. I am not interested in becoming a stereotypical artist with elevated jargon and degrees to impress audiences. To me, art is about expressing my inner world. That's why I am thankful for AI art—an avenue that allows me to reflect on my inner self, regardless of the medium. Art, to me, isn't just about spending hours perfecting a drawing of an eye or hand; it's the experience of creating and the viewer's interaction with the work. As Keith Haring once said, "Art should be something that liberates your soul, provokes the imagination, and encourages people to go further." I am particularly drawn to antagonistic themes: beauty and ugliness, childhood innocence versus death, the angelic and the demonic, Christianity, and occultism. "I don't know why people expect art to make sense. They accept the fact that life doesn't make sense." David Lynch's words resonate with me deeply. As an artist, I strive to challenge conventional notions of beauty and morality, exploring the murky depths of the human psyche. My fascination with the macabre and grotesque stems from a desire to confront our darkest fears and desires, to peel back the layers of societal conditioning and reveal the raw, primal impulses that lie beneath. Yet, at the same time, I am equally drawn to the innocent wonder of childhood, capturing fleeting moments of joy and whimsy in my work. My influences range from Till Lindemann's visceral poetry to Salvador Dali's surreal dreamscapes, but ultimately, it is Marilyn Manson who embodies my artistic ethos—a fearless provocateur who defies categorization and challenges us to confront our own demons. Whether through painting, photography, 3D art, or AI art, I seek to create a space where beauty and ugliness can coexist in all their complex contradictions—a mirror that reflects both our deepest fears and our highest aspirations.
