LANÇAMENTO
16/09/2026, 17h-18h

Acesso livre.

The first issue of VERONICA brings together texts by 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐚, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐍𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐬𝐦ã𝐨, 𝐋𝐮í𝐬𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐬, 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨, 𝐉𝐨𝐬é 𝐋𝐮í𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐟í𝐫𝐢𝐨 and 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐨 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐫𝐚, invited to present different perspectives on the exhibitions and public programs that took place throughout the Pavilhão Julião Sarmento’s inaugural year.

As Isabel Carlos, director of the Pavilhão Julião Sarmento, explains: “This annual magazine aims not only to serve as a record of the program of this new place, but above all to encourage essays on exhibitions and, more broadly, critical and theoretical discourse, as well as visual and graphic forms of expression.”

The magazine will be presented in the form of a roundtable discussion with the authors, which will take place in Arena 3003, by Rita McBride, in Gallery 0 of the museum.
