Cultivate started with food.

A love for seasonal ingredients, thoughtful sourcing, and the way meals can bring people together around a table. That’s still the heart of what we do here. 💚

Over time, working so closely with ingredients and seasonality naturally led one of our co-founders, Melanie, to explore nutrition and health more deeply, especially how food, digestion, and daily habits affect how we feel. 🌱

She recently created a separate space, , where she shares that side of the work, learning about nutrition, plant medicine, ingredients in Portugal, and how food supports the body beyond the plate. 🧠

If you’ve ever been curious about the connection between food and health, that’s where those reflections live as we continue navigating seasonal eating in Portugal. 🍋

Um amor pelos ingredientes sazonais, pela origem consciente, e pela forma como as refeições juntam pessoas à volta da mesa. Isso continua a ser o coração do que fazemos aqui. 💚

Com o tempo, trabalhar tão de perto com os ingredientes e a sazonalidade levou naturalmente uma das nossas cofundadoras, Melanie, a explorar mais profundamente a nutrição e a saúde, sobretudo a forma como a alimentação, a digestão e os hábitos do dia a dia influenciam como nos sentimos. 🌱

Ela criou recentemente um espaço separado, , onde partilha esse lado do trabalho, aprendizados sobre nutrição, plantas medicinais, ingredientes em Portugal e como a comida apoia o corpo para além do prato. 🧠

Se alguma vez sentiu curiosidade sobre a ligação entre alimentação e saúde, é ali que essas reflexões vivem, enquanto continuamos a explorar uma alimentação sazonal em Portugal. 🍋

At home we keep things aligned with the principles Melanie teaches in her functional nutrition practice ( ): organic when we can, wild and local whenever possible. It’s how we choose to nourish our family, support our son’s development and stay connected to our ancestral way of eating with real, whole ingredients. 🌿

🍷 From Soil to Soul: Natural Wines Meet Brazilian–Japanese Cuisine

🌿 The evening unfolds over thoughtfully paired courses:

✨Opening dishes – fresh & mineral wines meets delicate Japanese-inspired appetizers.
✨Bridge course – a sushi experience, Japanese technique meets Brazilian flavors and lighter wines.
✨Main course – a vibrant moqueca stew paired with fuller wines.

We’re offering two exclusive tasting menus — one fully vegan 🌱 and one with fresh wild fish 🐟 — both showcasing bold Brazilian-Japanese fusion flavors.

🥒Starter: Traditional pickled cucumber salad with black sesame
