“Over the course of a decade, THIS IS NOT A WHITE CUBE has established itself as a space for thought, creation, and displacement. A place where contemporary art is approached as a critical practice and a territory of encounter between geographies, narratives, and identities. Since its foundation, the gallery has sought to develop a programme that brings together artists, contexts, and discourses, resisting simplistic readings and opening space for an ongoing reflection on the cultural, social, and historical dynamics that shape the present.
Celebrating 10 years means acknowledging this journey, but also reaffirming an intention: to continue supporting rigorous artistic practices, giving visibility to plural voices, and creating spaces for dialogue where art is understood not merely as an object, but as a position. More than a milestone, this anniversary projects itself as a point of continuity. A gesture open to the future and to art’s capacity to question, transform, and broaden the way we see the world.
This journey would not have been possible without the trust and commitment of all those who walk alongside us: artists, collectors, institutional partners, friends, and our team. To each and every one of them, we extend our sincere gratitude.
