Mówi o sobie: artystka, projektantka mody, performerzyca, facetka, poetka. Prace Wesołowskiego poruszają kwestie języka i stereotypów genderowych, zderzają mity i popkulturę, balansują pomiędzy sztuką a modą.

By engaging in play, you cross different thresholds. Suddenly, you find yourself between safety and danger. Excitement and anxiety go hand in hand. A little devil in your head provokes you. Or maybe everything is fake – maybe you’re the one in charge? Anyone who dares to step in finds themselves in an attic that is hard to escape. You must trust that suspicious little creature.

A performative tour of Emma Szumlas and Kamil Wesołowski will enable the transfer of meanings and the generation of new contexts in the exhibition space. Live-produced codes will trigger relationships between exposure elements. Interventions will allow you to tell about the exhibition by bringing out nuances and hidden places. They will simultaneously secure borders and choreographically expand them, creating surprises.

Kuba Stępień (b. 1997, she/they) is an artist working between Berlin, Warsaw and their hometown - Bełchatów. Their practice is based on a widely defined process with a big accent on experimental emotional research, emotional critique, auto theory and non-binary trans perspecitves. They use video, performance, latex, their body fluids and other various media, tools and materials that can be viewed as irrational or frivolous. Often pursuing performative notions, they work in regards to and with their own body, a collective body, creating body-like creations, works, understanding multiplicities outside of own’s trauma and queer-world building. Working inbetween media, Kuba Stępień transfuses them with each other aiming to explore notions of indeterminacies that absorb fictions and fantasies in relation to visual representation, as an alternative to dreams. Challenging the standards of normative communication and binary orders, they examine potentials of the non-normative and based on subjective characteristic language poeticises, treating their work as visual poems, codes or representations.

Brad Nath (b. 1995, New York, he/they) uses the human-canine bond as a framework to explore the intersection of companion technologies and biopolitics.
Using faux fur to blur biological and synthetic distinctions, he produces hybrid bodies that destabilize categories of friendship, violence, obedience and companionship. The work offers potential counter-strategies to engage with technological dominance.
A graduate of the MA Solo/Dance/Authorship program from UdK Berlin HZT (2022) and the Architecture program at Cornell University (2018), his practice explores the body as a site of technological hybridity through historical, contemporary, and speculative frameworks.
Based in Berlin since 2018, Brad’s practice spans sculpture, performance, prosthetics and sound to investigate the evolving relations between humans, animals, technologies and environments.
