Today, when I came to Spirala Art Gallery, the Poster (facing the street) from the Art exhibition of Ярослав Войцеховский - Yaroslav Voitsekhovsky was gone, in it's place a paper indicating the Art. 196 of the penal code, meaning, offense to religious feelings...

It's important to remind that Freedom and Artistic expression is also defended in Law, and therefore individual actions of this type (stealing the Poster/Image due to its content - Artistic only), it's also a crime and an unacceptable behaviour!

Biografia

Johann Bärenklau (ur. 1999) jest artystą i muzykiem mieszkającym w Niemczech. W 2026 roku ukończył studia w zakresie sztuki mediów w pracowni „Expanded Cinema” Clemensa von Wedemeyera na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Lipsku. Jego twórczość obejmuje dźwięk, instalacje i grafikę.

Oprócz indywidualnej twórczości artystycznej współpracuje ze swoim partnerem Filipem Januchowskim jako kompozytor filmowy.

Jego prace były prezentowane na wystawach, podczas występów na żywo oraz w ramach projektów w takich miastach jak Berlin, Genua, Lucerna, Paryż i Ryga.

Bio

Johann Bärenklau (*1999) is an artist and musician based in Germany. He completed his studies in Media Art in 2026 in the class Expanded Cinema of Clemens von Wedemeyer at the Leipzig Academy of Fine Arts. His artistic practice spans sound, installation and graphics.

Alongside his individual artistic work, he collaborates with his partner Filip Januchowski as composers for film.

His work has been presented in exhibitions, live performances, and projects in cities including Berlin, Genoa, Lucerne, Paris, and Rīga.
