📍 Barcelona | International Photography Festivals Association (IPFA) 2026
Kilka niezwykle intensywnych dni pełnych fotografii, inspirujących rozmów i nowych międzynarodowych kontaktów.
Miałam ogromną przyjemność uczestniczyć w International Photography Festivals Association Meeting w Barcelonie – spotkaniu dyrektorów festiwali, kuratorów, artystów i przedstawicieli instytucji kultury z całego świata.
Program obejmował debaty poświęcone przyszłości festiwali fotografii, współpracy międzynarodowej, nowym modelom prezentacji sztuki oraz liczne wystawy i spotkania networkingowe. Był to niezwykle cenny czas wymiany doświadczeń i budowania relacji, które – mam nadzieję – zaowocują kolejnymi projektami.
Wyjazd był dla mnie również ważnym etapem przygotowań do realizacji mojego autorskiego projektu Through Mother's and Father's Eyes – International Photography Festival, którego ideą jest tworzenie międzynarodowej przestrzeni spotkań wokół fotografii, rodziny, pamięci i relacji międzyludzkich.
Wracam do Polski z głową pełną pomysłów, nowymi partnerstwami oraz przekonaniem, że fotografia potrafi budować mosty pomiędzy ludźmi, kulturami i krajami.
Serdecznie dziękuję International Photography Festivals Association (IPFA) za zaproszenie, inspirujący program i wyjątkową atmosferę.
Szczególne podziękowania kieruję również do Instytutu Adama Mickiewicza, dzięki którego wsparciu mogłam reprezentować Polskę i uczestniczyć w tym ważnym wydarzeniu.

A few incredibly inspiring days filled with photography, meaningful conversations, and new international connections.
It was a great privilege to participate in the International Photography Festivals Association (IPFA) Meeting in Barcelona, bringing together festival directors, curators, artists, and cultural professionals from around the world.
The programme focused on the future of photography festivals, international collaboration, innovative exhibition models, and new opportunities for cultural exchange. It was an inspiring environment for sharing experiences and building meaningful professional relationships.
This meeting was also an important step in the development of my own initiative, the Through Mother's and Father's Eyes – International Photography Festival, a project dedicated to creating an international platform where photography becomes a space for dialogue about family, memory, identity, and human relationships.
I return to Poland inspired, with new ideas, valuable partnerships, and a stronger belief that photography has the power to connect people, cultures, and communities across borders.
My sincere thanks to the International Photography Festivals Association (IPFA) for the invitation, the inspiring programme, and the warm hospitality.
Special thanks also to the Adam Mickiewicz Institute for making my participation possible and for supporting the international presence of Polish artists and cultural initiatives.
Looking forward to future collaborations—and to welcoming many of these inspiring colleagues to Through Mother's and Father's Eyes – International Photography Festival in the years to come.
