Beyond their benchmarking activity, the group also took time to explore the rich heritage, traditions, and stories of Lanao del Norte — reflecting the value of cultural appreciation, shared learning, and stronger community connection.

𝗝𝗼𝗲𝘆𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗼𝘆 – 𝗖𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 (𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿) 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺 🚴‍♂️

𝑱𝒐𝒆𝒚𝒎𝒂𝒓 𝑩𝒂𝒐𝒚, a dedicated cyclist known for his loop riding, visited the 𝑳𝒂𝑵𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒖𝒎𝐉𝐨𝐞𝐲𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐨𝐲 – 𝐂𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 (𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐩 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫) 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦 as part of his personal journey across the country. He aims to visit all 82 provinces of the Philippines, promoting cultural appreciation, tourism, and an active lifestyle through cycling.

His visit highlights the value of exploring and appreciating local heritage sites while advancing advocacy through meaningful travel.

Fresh from conducting a seminar at 𝑳𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒐 𝑵𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒆 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 (𝑳𝑵𝑵𝑪𝑯𝑺) in Baroy, the DOST SEI STEM Innovations Team, took time to visit the 𝗟𝗮𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺.

Their visit offered an opportunity to explore the rich history, culture, and identity of Lanao del Norte, creating a perfect balance between science, education, and heritage appreciation. From engaging exhibits to stories that shaped the province, the experience highlighted the vital connection between innovation and cultural understanding.

Beyond sharing knowledge in the classroom, moments like these emphasize the importance of grounding scientific advancement in cultural awareness, reminding us that true progress is rooted in both intellect and identity.

Meanwhile, a professor from 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒐 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 – 𝑰𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒏 𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒕𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚 visited with the university’s student interns after evaluating their progress in their respective office assignments. Upon learning that we have our very own museum, the first in the province, they didn’t hesitate to take the opportunity to explore it.

During the guided tour, 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛. 𝘽𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙤 shared his insights and expressed his excitement in discovering an accessible museum where students can easily visit, learn, and connect with history. This highlights the important role museums play in supporting education and preserving our shared heritage.

The 𝗟𝗮𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺 was honored to have been visited by Krist Dan Aba and Justin Craig Canete on March 16, 2026. Their visit occurred prior to their departure for the Mr. Teen Philippines competition held on Boracay Island, Philippines. During their time at the museum, they explored the rich history stored within its walls and were visibly amazed by the artifacts, some of which they had seen for the first time.

Now, they are returning home, bringing prestigious titles. 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗯𝗮 was crowned 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, and 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐞 was hailed as 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬.
