𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝘽𝙀𝙉𝙀𝘿𝙄𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙉𝙀 𝙈𝙀𝘿𝘼𝙇

Many are familiar with the Jubilee Medal of St. Benedict, a sacramental of the Church that is known for its ability to protect against demonic influences.

Embossed on the medal is a powerful prayer that can be said on a regular basis. It is quite simple and easy to memorize. The St. Benedict Medal prayer is a great gift from the Church for anyone who wants to invoke the divine assistance of God to free them from the grasp of Satan.

On the back of the medal, within the cross at the center, are the following letters that represent a Latin prayer against Satan:

• C. S. S. M. L. (Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux): “The Holy Cross be my light”

• N. D. S. M. D. (Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux) “May the dragon never be my guide!”

Around the edge of the medal are more letters that stand for the Latin exorcism prayers:

• V. R. S. (Vade Retro Satan): “Get away, Satan”
• N. S. M. V. (Not Suade Mihi Vana): “Never tempt me with your vanities!”
• S. M. Q. L. (Sunt Mala Quae Libas): “What you offer me is evil.”
• I. V. B. (Ipse Venena Bibas): “Drink the poison yourself!”

HEALING AND KEEPING PRAYER

HEAVENLY FATHER, I thank You for loving me. I thank You for sending Your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, to the world to save and to set me free. I trust in Your power and grace that sustain and restore me. Loving Father, touch me now with Your healing hands, for I believe that Your will is for me to be well in mind, body, soul and spirit.

Cover me with the most Precious Blood of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Cast anything that should not be in me. Root out any unhealthy and abnormal cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild and replenish any damaged areas. Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection by the power of Jesus' precious Blood. Let the fire of Your healing Love pass through my entire body to heal and make new any diseased areas so that my body will function the way You created it to function. Touch also my mind and my emotion, even the deepest recesses of my heart.

Saturate my entire being with Your presence, love, joy, and peace and draw me ever closer to You every moment of my life. And Father, fill me with Your Holy Spirit and empower me to do your works so that my life will bring glory and honor to Your holy name. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Tunay na malapit sa mga puso ng Pilipino ang niluwalhating santong si San Roque ng Montpellier. Ang kanyang debosyon ay kalat sa buong bansa kaakibat ang malalim na pamimintuho ng mga tao sa kanya. Makiisa tayo sa araw ng paggunita sa kanya, at patuloy tayong dumulog sa kanya upang labanan ang pandemyang ating hinaharap.

𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐞
O, Panginoon Kong Diyos, ikaw na nagsugo sa maluwalhating San Roque at pinahatiran mo siya ng kaputol na tabla, pinagtibay Mo ang pangako sa kanya, upang ang sino mang dapuan ng salot ay hindi maano, sapagkat siya'y deboto sa Iyo.
Magdalita Ka sa aming lahat na gumugunita sa kanyang buhay. Ipagkaloob Mo na kami ay maligtas sa mga salot na nakakamatay sa kaluluwa't katawan, pakundangan kay Hesukristong Panginoon namin. Amen!

HAPPY FEAST DAY ST. TARCISIUS!🎉

Tarcisius was an altar server during the Christian persecution under the Roman Emperor, Valerian. During this time, Christians had to celebrate the Mass in underground tunnels called catacombs. One day, the priest asked who would be willing to risk their life to carry the Holy Eucharist to their fellow Christians in prison. The priests, and most of the men, were too well known and risked losing the Eucharist and their lives if they were seen. Young Tarcisius volunteered, saying his youth would be the perfect disguise. The pagans would think he was merely a messenger boy.

Saint Tarcisius’ feast day is August 15. He is the patron of altar servers.
