Center for Tarlaqueño Studies Established in 1984 by the late President Jack Smith, the Center, part of TSU’s RDEs, contributes The specific functions of the unit are the following:
1.

The Center for Tarlaqueño Studies, under the university research office is primarily tasked to serve as the principal venue of the Tarlac Province on historical and cultural material. To conduct researches related to the history and culture of Tarlac Province;
2. To establish research articles and cultural materials related to Tarlac Province;
3. To establish and maintain a University Museum on Ta

rlac Studies;
4. To assist historical and heritage activities of various Tarlac Municipalities;
5. To establish linkages with similar centers for institutions around the Philippines and the world,and
6.To assist the URO Director in the preparation of work plans and reports.
