Step closer. Look beyond the canvas and take in the details, textures, and emotions captured in every stroke.

At Galleria de Avedad, the Blanco family and B-side Gallery artists come together in Nandoon, Nandito—an intimate collection of works that invites us to pause, observe, and feel. Each masterpiece tells its own story, expressing moments, memories, and emotions in ways that words sometimes cannot.

Take a closer look at the paintings on display and discover the stories hidden within every brushstroke.

Nandoon, Nandito — where what is there and what is here meet on the canvas.

𝙉𝘼𝙉𝘿𝙊𝙊𝙉, 𝙉𝘼𝙉𝘿𝙄𝙏𝙊: A Beautiful Celebration of Unity in Art 💖🎨

The formal opening program of our latest group exhibition, "Nandoon, Nandito," at Galleria de Avedad was an absolutely unforgettable experience for all of us today!

Though there was a bit of a curveball with unexpected rain, prompting us to pivot to our "Plan B" venue relocation. Despite the last-minute change, the warmth, love, and support of the artistic community shone brighter. We are deeply honored to have welcomed our distinguished guests traveling all the way from Angono, Rizal - the Art Capital of the Philippines. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Morris Sardido, Supreme Chancellor of the Supreme Council, Knights of Rizal (representing the Honorable Mayor of Angono, Gerry Calderon) for sharing his immense appreciation and inspiring words about hosting this magnificent collection within the serene landscape of Paraiso de Avedad.

A truly moving highlight of the afternoon was when featured artist Lemuel Blanco shared the profound story behind the exhibition's title: "Nandoon, Nandito." It beautifully signifies how these spectacular masterpieces, which were once nandoon in Angono, are now proudly nandito (here) in San Pablo City, Laguna. It is a bridge of creativity, connection, and shared heritage. The program closed beautifully, surrounded by the incredible presence of artists, creators, and art-movers from both Rizal and Laguna. Thank you to everyone who braved the weather to celebrate with us.

We proved today that art knows no boundaries, no distance, and no weather! One heart in art, one country, all for one Love. 🇵🇭❤️

The exhibition runs from September 19 to 29, 2026 here at Galleria de Avedad, Paraiso de Avedad, San Pablo City, Laguna. Come and experience it in person!

MABUHAY, PATIS TESORO! 👑🎉

The Paraiso de Avedad family is bursting with pride to celebrate our very own Patis Tesoro, now officially a National Artist of the Philippines for Design! 🇵🇭✨

Patis has spent a lifetime breathing new life into our heritage, reviving the delicate art of piña weaving, championing the terno and barong Tagalog, and proving again and again that Filipino craftsmanship belongs on the grandest stages. Every stitch, every hand-embroidered detail, every piece of indigenous fabric she's touched has carried a love letter to the Philippines. 🌺

To our beloved Patis: thank you for showing the world the beauty of being Filipino, thread by thread. You are an inspiration to us all! Congratulations, National Artist Patis Tesoro! 🥂👏
