Show Runs 'til OCT 1 | In Glacial Pace

In Glacial Pace explores moments of stillness across various facets of life—from career trajectories and identity to relationships, spirituality, and mortality.

Here, "glacial pace" describes a nearly imperceptible rate of change: impossible to measure in real-time, and often recognized only long after it occurs.
Yet, glacial movement is not inactivity.

The heavy drag of routine can make days blur together, lulling us into a sense of stagnation. While frustrating, this pace offers a rare comfort in the inevitability of time passing. Where daily pressures push us to view stillness as an inconvenience between major events, In Glacial Pace invites you to slow down and feel the distinct weight of each breath and blink.

SAVED POINT

Failing isn't restarting.
You don't lose your progress, your lessons, or your gear. When life goes wrong, we don't go back to start. We just go back to the moment before everything went sideways. Take a breath, keep your inventory, rethink your strategy, and try again.

Not back to zero. Just back to where we regroup.

“Tulad ng orasan, hindi mo maibabalik yung oras—kahit segundo, hindi mo na maibabalik diba?”

Rooted in creation and biblical symbolism, HOLD STILL but no permanently by Kiko Marquez reflects on the fleeting nature of reality. It confronts a truth we cannot escape: everything we cherish, touch, and fight to protect will eventually fade, decay, or be forgotten. Time spares no one, and nothing stays still forever. But within this universal decay, there lies a single, divine exception—a reminder of the only presence that ever truly conquered the end.

Catch his solo exhibit at The Grey Space Art Gallery until June 24, 2026 before time runs out!
