LET'S PAINT AUGUST! Join the National Museum of the Philippines San Jose de Buenavista in “Art in Flight: Color Your Dulungan” this Aug. 15 and 29, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at the Legislative Hall of the Old Antique Capitol. Dulungan (Rhabdotorrhinus waldeni) is a rare and critically endangered hornbill found in a few localities on Panay and Negros islands, with a history of occurring on Guimaras island. The Province of Antique through Provincial Ordinance 2020-208 calls for its protection by observing August as the Dulungan Month to raise awareness about the importance of protecting this endemic bird, which equates to protecting its habitat. We will learn more about the dulungan from the talk of Ms Rodelyn Pardico, Community Affairs Assistant II, Office of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer, in these two sessions. Enjoy your creativity by painting your dulungan clay keychains made by potters from Sibalom, Antique, and take them home as your souvenir. The activity is FREE, so, bring your family and friends!

Join us in 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲: 𝐀𝐧 𝐎𝐧-𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 on 𝟖 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, at 𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 at the 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐏. 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐥 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝟒/𝐅, 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬. The session will include an on-location sketching activity in designated areas throughout the museum.

PAMBANSANG MUSEO SA SAGRADO. The National Museum of the Philippines - Iloilo will bring its universal access program and travelling exhibition, Pambansang Museo sa Paaralan to Colegio del Sagrado Corazon de Jesus promoting the importance of culture and heritage in Western Visayas. is set to bring mobile museum boxes containing replicas of fossil molars of elephant and stegodons, diorama of dipterocarp forests with flora and fauna, Oton gold death mask, heritage textiles, and upcycled artwork of 'Miagao Church' made by an Ilonggo artist, Cristhom 'Dodoy' Setubal. Fun museum-related activities and prizes are being prepared for the students.

Halina’t pag-aralan ang 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧, ang sinauna at tradisyunal na sistema ng pagsulat ng ating mga ninuno. Tuklasin kung paano ito magagamit sa makabagong panahon at bisitahin ang mga arkeolohikal na artifact na may Baybayin na inskripsiyon. 🏺📜

Inaanyayahan ng 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐡𝐢𝐲𝐚 ang mga estudyante sa sekundarya at kolehiyo na makilahok sa “𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚”, isang aktibidad sa pagsulat ng Baybayin, pagbabalik-tanaw sa ating kasaysayan, at pagyakap sa pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino.
