𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝 “𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐠” 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐞 (b. October 29, 1973) is a Filipino contemporary Neo-Impressionist artist from Binangonan, Rizal, and a former President of the Binangonan-based art group, Bigkis Sining. A self-taught artist and a scholar graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering, B**g developed a distinct artistic voice shaped by nostalgia, movement, and optimism.
Widely recognized for his celebrated 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, B**g coined the term “𝐅𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞” to describe his artistic approach—an imaginative interpretation of soaring objects as metaphors for hope, freedom, memory, and aspiration. His works often depict children and communities immersed in the timeless pastime of kite flying, rendered through dynamic compositions and vibrant palettes that evoke warmth, joy, and emotional resonance.

His photographic memory translates and transcend each detail on the canvas in an array of bold colors and vivid brushstrokes depicting such a joyful scene from the young, tender and old thereby creating an immense mood of what it feels like to be watching a successful kite flight unfold and even holding a kite on flight that which is untold.

In his thoughts, Kites are like letters, a poetry in motion, dishing out signatures to tempo and tune dictated by the wind itself. Kite flying is more like courting the wind to come fetch a beautiful kite to take a decent flight. Otherwise, it won't come flying up.

Step through the gallery doors and the dark doesn’t feel empty. It feels charged. A thin blue line traces the ceiling like a thought you can’t quite catch. A single word—"𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐘"—buzzes in hot pink against raw concrete. This is Current, an exhibit of neon art, and it’s not here to hang quietly on a wall. It’s here to run through

Light behaves differently in this room. Neon doesn’t sit on a surface. It dyes the air. Stand near Pulse by 𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐂𝐎𝐒 𝐍𝐔𝐋𝐔𝐃 and your skin turns violet. The wall behind you isn’t white anymore. The people across the room become silhouettes edged in cyan. You are not looking at the art. You are inside it. That’s the first thing neon teaches: light is not neutral. It chooses you as much as you choose it.

Current is about voltage in every sense: electrical, emotional, cultural. Neon lives in the collective memory of night. It’s road trips and last calls and the first time you saw your city from the freeway. The artists here borrow that nostalgia and reroute it. A sign that should point to a casino instead reads “ARE YOU LONELY TOO?” The seduction is still there. But the transaction changed. It’s no longer selling you something. It’s asking you something.

In a world of flat screens and infinite scroll, there’s a stubbornness to neon. You can’t screenshot the way it fills a room. Your phone flattens the glow, kills the buzz, misses the heat. It has to be experienced with a body. You have to stand in the hum and let your eyes adjust.
