Kish Javier, an artist celebrated for his intricate wire sculptures, has embarked on a fascinating artistic journey that combines his love for pareidolia with painting. This unique approach has breathed new life into his creative process, allowing him to explore the mysterious interplay between the conscious and subconscious mind.

Pareidolia, the tendency to perceive familiar patterns—like faces—in abstract spaces, has been a childhood fascination for Kish. This fascination has now become a pivotal element in his artwork. Featured Artist Bio:

Christine is a Makati-based contemporary visual artist whose practice explores beauty, darkness, resilience, and transformation through expressive florals, skulls, and symbolic imagery. Working primarily in acrylic, oil, watercolor, and mixed media, she creates works that balance softness with strength and the delicate with the macabre.

Her work has been featured in multiple local exhibitions and online art shows, and her paintings have been collected by art enthusiasts in the Philippines and abroad. She has also completed commissioned works for private collectors, allowing her practice to extend into deeply personal and collaborative pieces.

Christine was also a participating artist in Nanay, an art book celebrating motherhood through contemporary visual art, with three of her paintings featured in the publication.

Influenced by her love of florals, vintage aesthetics, grunge, and rock and metal culture, Christine’s work often brings together seemingly opposing elements: flowers and skulls, beauty and decay, vulnerability and strength. Through ArtByChristine, she continues to develop a distinctive visual language that is both ornamental and emotionally charged.

To those who wish to visit the gallery and the collectiion, we are open everyday from 11AM to 5PM Mondays to Saturdays and via appointments on Sundays.
