ONE MONTH TO GO BEFORE THE TRASLACION | SEPTEMBER 11, 2026

For 316 years, generations of Bicolanos have journeyed with Inâ—a living devotion handed down through generations, expressed in prayer, sacrifice, and love for the Mother who leads us to Christ. Through the centuries, this devotion has become part of the life and faith of the Church of Bicol.

The Traslación is more than the transfer of an image. It is a penitential journey—an invitation to examine our lives, leave behind self-interest, and conform ourselves more faithfully to the will of God. In walking with Inâ, we are reminded to become servants of one another—to carry especially the lost, the least, and the last.

As we prepare for this year’s Peñafrancia celebrations, plan your pilgrimage with prayer and intention. Check the official Peñafrancia 2026 schedules posted on the pages of the Our Lady of Peñafrancia Minor Basilica and National Shrine, The Naga Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Our Lady of Peñafrancia Parish, and make the necessary preparations to participate reverently in the celebrations.

Here are the Peñafrancia 2026 General Schedule for the 144th Feast of the Divino Rostro and the 316th Solemnity of the Our Lady of Peñafrancia.

This year’s fiesta carries the theme, “Inâ: Nurturing a Growing Church,” inviting us to look to Mary, Mother of the Church, whose maternal care continually forms disciples, deepens communion, and leads the People of God to mature in faith and mission.

In celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of the Archdiocese of Cáceres (1951-2026) and in the Church’s continuing commitment to inclusivity, the guiding theme, “Gabos kaayon, Gabos may gibúhon.” calls every member of the Church to visible and tangible participation, affirming that all have a place, a gift to share, and a mission in building up the Body of Christ under the loving care of our Mahal na Inâ.

Come home to Inâ, and together let us celebrate this season of pilgrimage as one growing Church.
