Where traditional woodblock prints meet modern pop culture.
Fundacion Sansó has always championed the art of printmaking. This year at MoCAF, we are thrilled to expand our exhibition with a vibrant crossover that features the beauty of Japanese prints!
We’ve partnered with Ukiyo-Ba to bring you a unique look at Ukiyo-e. Originating during Japan’s peaceful Edo period (17th–19th century), Ukiyo, meaning “The Floating World”, focused on entertainment and lifestyle. Over 250 years later, this classic art form continues to heavily influence modern subcultures like manga, anime, and gaming.
Calling all collectors! Come see exclusive, signed prints featuring legendary icons like Godzilla, Ultraman, Vampire Hunter D, Naruto, and many more!
Come see how classic printmaking traditions inspire the contemporary art and fandom worlds of today.
