Doc. Villan curated the Iglesia ni Cristo Museum in Quezon City and also served as a consultant for the New Era University Museum.

A big thank you to the Grade 11 learners of Gamot Cogon Waldorf School for choosing the NHCP Museum of Philippine Economic History as your alternative classroom!
As part of their visit, the students completed a museum hunt prepared by their teacher, where they searched for answers within our museum narratives. This activity encouraged them to read, observe, discuss, and discover new insights about our country's economic history.
The NHCP Museum of Philippine Economic History encourages teachers and schools to consider museums as alternative classrooms, where learning extends beyond the four walls of a traditional classroom. More than a place that houses artifacts, our museum serves as an educational hub where history comes alive and meaningful learning experiences take place.

The NHCP Museum of Philippine Economic History was delighted to welcome independent curator, cultural critic, and policy analyst Ms. Marian Pastor Roces, together with Mr. Paul Dawnson M. Formaran, curator and cultural projects manager. During their visit, Rosie guided them through the museum, beginning with the history of the building before it was transformed into a museum. She then highlighted the Philippines' economic journey from the pre-colonial period to the present day and showcased the different key industries and their significant contributions to the growth and development of the Philippine economy.

This initiative was spearheaded by the Iloilo City Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) Center, the Local Government of Iloilo City, and the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region VI to further enrich the museum experience and promote Iloilo City's rich cultural heritage.
