Last May 21, 2026, the Natural Science Museum of MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology had the pleasure of welcoming the students and faculty delegation from the ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ƒ๐จ๐ง ๐•๐ข๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐š๐ง๐จ, ๐Œ๐ข๐ฌ๐š๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ ๐Ž๐œ๐œ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ฅ for an educational visit and facility exposure at MSU-IIT.

The visit provided an opportunity for the students to explore the museumโ€™s exhibits and learn more about biodiversity, natural history, environmental conservation, and the role of science and research in society. The Natural Science Museum โ€“ MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology is honored and thrilled to be selected as one of the featured locations for the Iligan City Tourism Promotional Video 2026. ๐ŸŽฅโœจ

Last May 14, 2026, the Iligan City Tourism Office, together with its production team and actors, conducted a promotional video shoot inside the museum to highlight museum visits as a meaningful family activity that promotes culture, education, and local heritage.

Being part of this initiative is a proud moment for the museum as it continues to serve as a center for learning, discovery, and appreciation of the natural world. Students from MSU-IIT Integrated Rural Development Academy (IRDA) Lala Proper, Lala, Lanao del Norte visited the Natural Science Museum โ€“ MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology last May 15, 2026, together with their faculty chaperone, Mr. Fhelmar I. Rondillas.

The educational visit provided the students with an opportunity to explore the museumโ€™s collections and exhibits, promoting greater appreciation and understanding of biodiversity, natural history, and environmental conservation. Today, we were honored to welcome faculty members fromMarinduque State University-College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences who visited the Natural Science Museum for their benchmarking activity. It was also a wonderful moment to reconnect with two of their faculty members who are proud alumni of the Department of Biological Sciences. Preschool learners from ๐‘๐š๐›๐š๐ ๐จ ๐‚๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐‚๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ successfully conducted their educational tour at the Natural Science Museum โ€“ MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology last April 10, 2026.

The visit provided young learners with an engaging introduction to the wonders of science through interactive and child-friendly exhibits. With 27 preschoolers, together with their teacher and parents/guardians, the activity highlighted the value of experiential learning in building foundational knowledge and appreciation for the natural world.

All the way from Ozamiz City, the Natural Science Museum โ€“ MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology warmly welcomed the ๐๐ข๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ๐š๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐Œ๐ข๐ฌ๐š๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ during their educational field trip on March 13, 2026.

The visit provided the students with the opportunity to explore the Terrestrial Biodiversity Museum and Marine Museum, as well as selected facilities of the College of Science and Mathematics, including the Chemistry and Biology laboratories and the Premier Research Institute of Science and Mathematics (PRISM). Through this activity, students were able to gain valuable insights into biodiversity, natural science collections, and scientific research environments.
