🌿 Generations Entwined: Roots & Colors Session 2! 🎨

From tiny hands holding a pencil to wise eyes that have seen decades of beauty—magic happened today (May 30, 2026) at the Roots and Colors Art Workshop!

We brought together an incredible multi-generational circle of creators, ranging from ages 3 all the way to 61, right in the heart of the TRI Ps of Rogongon. Seeing our diverse community connect, laugh, and create side-by-side was nothing short of mesmerizing.

🍃 The Magic of the Humble Leaf
This session, we stripped things down to the beautiful basics of still life drawing. Armed with nothing but:
A single, unique leaf
A classic Mongol pencil
A blank illustration board

Our participants looked closely at the veins, the curves, and the shadows of nature. It’s amazing how a simple leaf can hold a whole world of texture! From the energetic, raw strokes of the toddlers to the deep, deliberate shading of our elders, every single illustration board came alive with its own story and soul.

Art truly knows no age, and our roots run deeper when we create together. 🪵✨

Solo Deo Gloria!♥️

'Sunlight in a Cafeteria' o/c, 1923, by Edward Hopper (1882–1967). Hopper was a painter and printmaker who depicted modern American life and landscapes of stark, intimate interpretations, often featuring people as symbols in snapshot-like compositions. In this work he captures the unsettling tension between figures, clearly aware of, but do not acknowledge each other's presence.
