𝐿𝑢𝑚𝑖𝑝𝑎𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑒𝑎𝑚—the Colors and Hues Art Workshop Team at General Santos City SPED Integrated School on June 4, 2026 to June 6, 2026 to assist during the Brigada Eskwela. The C&H Team along with the visual artists from GSC SPED Integrated School - Special Program in the Arts had painted a mural featuring the school's trademark, proudly showcasing the institutiln's identity, values, and spirit through a vibrant and meaningful work of art. 🎨🖌️✨

𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 | 𝙀𝙫𝙚 𝙎𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙚𝙧 𝙒𝙖𝙮 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙

Every masterpiece begins with a single line. For her, that line started as a childhood curiosity—a pencil moving across paper, sketching not just images but the beginnings of a dream that continues to unfold with every stroke. A young emerging artist who is fond of coloring and drawing rather than writing. For her, blank pages were not meant to be filled with sentences but with strokes of creativity. For Eve, what began as a childhood fascination became a journey into artistic discovery.

Long before Eve entered the workshop, she found herself seeking within the lines and blending with the colors. Along with her coloring book, she continues to grow in her own little world. Until her world discovers her way into the Colors & Hues Art Workshop and spends four batches with the workshop. For her, it was “The Big Journey”, with each success being a memory of happiness, and each failure being a lesson to remember. With different art styles surrounding her—oil pastels, paint, and more—she gradually enhanced her skills and techniques. Beyond that, what made her journey memorable was the bond she had built within the workshop.

Throughout, the techniques she had learned, such as shading, coloring, patterns, and many more, became a big help with her entering various Poster Making Contests and Slogan Making Contests. With her skills continuing to shape, she found herself now joining Editorial Cartooning. With the beginning of these little steps, to entering a bigger creative space.

As Eve continues to sketch her way forward, the loving support of her parents are the outline of each path that leads to her notable achievements.

𝙇𝙤𝙤𝙠 🔍 | 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙪𝙚𝙨 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙖𝙩 𝙐𝙎𝙏 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙖𝙣

On May 18, 2026, the Colors and Hues team had the privilege of conducting a special workshop at University of Santo Tomas – General Santos City.

College students participated to enhance their painting skills and gain deeper insights into the world of colors. Our team was delighted to share our knowledge, experiences, and techniques with such enthusiastic young artists. 🌈🖌️

Special thanks to Ma’am Heroine Sucaldito, a teacher from UST Gensan, for inviting Teacher Marvem C. Lumangtad to conduct this workshop and for making this meaningful opportunity possible. We would also like to thank Teacher Marvem C. Lumangtad as our head speaker and invited guest, together with Freeya Angela Maquidato and Lianne Clear for their support as artist demonstrators.

We are grateful for the opportunity to inspire and be inspired, and we look forward to more creative journeys ahead. ✨🎨

That's a wrap, Batch 11!

A new set of young artists had again colored the summer that shines brightly. This batch had brought a different color to our little space, each one leaving a pigment that lives in vibrance. On the sixth day, showcase every craft these little ones had made. What an honor to share the same space with these forty-one young artists.
