𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Creativity, culture, and color filled the National Museum of the Philippines – Davao during the Tote Bag Painting activity held last May 29, 2026, in celebration of National Heritage Month.

Participants transformed blank tote bags into wearable works of art inspired by their favorite museum objects, stories, and cultural treasures found within the galleries. From vibrant patterns to heritage-inspired illustrations, each design reflected personal connections to history, identity, and creativity.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: As we conclude 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉 2026 , we would like to thank you for celebrating with us.

It has been a pleasure hosting such a diverse range of activities, from the Budotz film screening and scriptwriting workshop to beadwork making, tote bag painting, and our passport scavenger hunt. We hope you enjoyed participating in these events as much as we enjoyed conceptualizing them for you.

As part of our universal access mandate, all of our events, activities, and partnerships align with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Specifically, these initiatives support 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟰 (Quality Education), 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟭𝟬 (Reduced Inequalities), 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟭𝟭 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟭𝟮 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟭𝟳 (Partnerships for the Goals).
