An art buyer who went almost every day to Mindanao Art to check on his favorites. He bought two, then six, then another, and another.

Saw him again on the last day and asked, “Did you get another one?” With a happy face and a laugh, he said, “Wala uy!”—while giggling over his paper bag, already filled with more artworks and a shirts of Akoy-akoy 😂

Nalingaw jud mi niya. There was something so joyful and genuine about it—just pure excitement for art.

And this is what we kept hearing from many buyers throughout the exhibit - Resonance.

Perhaps that is what good art does. It meets us where we are, moves something within us, and sometimes… makes us take home another piece🤍
