𝐈𝐍𝐀: 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡💛

As the Bicol region and devotees around the world gather to celebrate the Feast Day of 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲ñ𝗮𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮, we honor our beloved 𝐈𝐍𝐀 - the mother whose tender presence continuously leads us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

The devotion to 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲ñ𝗮𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮 began in 1710 when Fr. Miguel Robles de Covarrubias, cured of a severe illness through her intercession, commissioned the first image and built a small chapel in Nueva Caceres (now Naga City). What started as a local promise of gratitude has flourished across more than three centuries into one of the largest Marian pilgrimages in Asia, uniting millions in faith, prayer, and shared heritage.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲: 𝗜𝗡𝗔: 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 , This year’s theme calls us to reflect on Ina not just as a refuge in times of need, but as our mother who actively nurtures our faith community. Through her gentle guidance, we are called to build a Church that is:
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲— reaching out to those who suffer and need comfort.
𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲-𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 — living out our faith through humble actions and selfless care.
𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱— standing together as one family bound by love, beyond all divisions.

May Ina’s loving presence inspire us to walk as one body in Christ, bringing His light and grace into our daily lives.
