Another custom uke 💜

Our Ursula Ukulele already comes in this lovely purple, but one of our favorite ways clients have been making it their own is by adding handpainted details to the body.

For this one, our partner artist Gwen added delicate white flowers and vines across the body and headstock, keeping the design simple while giving the ukulele a little more personality.

What a wonderful first FPAC! 💛

We honestly didn’t know what to expect, but we were overwhelmed by the warmth and support from the Filipino American community.

We had such a great time meeting everyone, talking about our craft, and sharing a little piece of Cebu here in California.

This one was extra special because Ritchie, the creator behind Wagas, was here with us to experience it all 🥹

A huge thank you as well to our family here in California who came out to support and help us throughout the event. Having you there meant so much to us.

And of course, thank you to everyone who stopped by and brought home one of our handmade ukuleles, baskets, and Mini Picklewood paddles, including our special FPAC Surf Ukuleles and pieces by local Cebuano artists.

A little sneak peek of what we’re bringing to Los Angeles 👀🇵🇭

We’re joining FPAC 2026 this September 12 in San Pedro, Los Angeles, and our Surf X is getting two special new designs for the occasion, created by Gideon Wagas of Pugo Design Studio.

Babaylan draws from the respected spiritual leaders and healers of precolonial Filipino communities. The flowing water represents music and its ability to move through every part of life, while the sun and stars complete a design rooted in Filipino identity, culture, and spirit.

Mu Si Ka centers on Musika, written in Baybayin and framed by patterns inspired by Ifugao textiles. It brings together music, Filipino expression, weaving, tradition, and creativity.

Both will be available at our FPAC booth. We’re very excited to bring a little piece of what we make here in Cebu all the way to the Filipino community in LA. See you soon!

Sometimes, a custom detail can be as simple as a few words you want to carry with you.

Here’s Nonoi hand painting a little reminder requested by one of our clients onto her ukulele.

Names, short quotes, dedications and even small designs like this are all painted by hand at our workshop.

And a little reminder from us too: free name painting is available with every ukulele purchased through our online store. Just let us know the name you’d like us to add!
