A little throwback.

My client wanted to move away from the striking pink details of the original bag, so I reimagined it with a more understated, artful finish, while still letting the signature Gucci canvas and floral elements shine.

Hand-painted, one stroke at a time, with the goal of making a luxury piece feel completely personal and one-of-a-kind.

This is the beauty of what I do: taking an already beautiful bag and transforming it into something that feels uniquely yours.

Every masterpiece begins with a single "yes."

In 2021, one client entrusted me with something extraordinary; her Hermès bag. It wasn't just a luxury piece; it was an act of trust. With every brushstroke, I poured my heart into creating something uniquely hers. 16 hours of non-stop painting that is!

I never imagined that one painted bag would become the beginning of a journey that would reach clients from different places around the world.

Looking back at every bag I've had the privilege to paint, I'm reminded that each piece carries more than color and design. It carries a story, a relationship, and the trust of someone who allowed me to turn their treasured luxury bag into a one-of-a-kind work of art.

There were seasons of uncertainty, lessons that refined me, and moments when I simply had to trust God's leading. Through it all, He remained faithful. Every opportunity, every client, every commission, and every milestone has been a gift of His grace.

Today, as I look back on this collection of signature pieces, my heart is filled with gratitude, not for what my hands have accomplished, but for what God has done through them.

To every client who believed in my work, thank you for your trust. Your support has become part of this incredible journey.

And above all, to God alone belongs all the glory. Without His guidance, wisdom, provision, and favor, none of this would have been possible.

From caring for patients to crafting masterpieces, Lesley Anne Jumao-as Pino, a proud UC Banilad Nursing alumna, has beautifully bridged the gap between compassion and creativity.

Today, she is the Visionary behind Casa de Pinta, now Lesley Pino Arts, (https://web.facebook.com/lesleyannepinopaintings) a proudly homegrown brand of native hand-painted bags and now luxury bags cherished by art collectors and celebrities alike, including style icon Jinkee Pacquiao. She has also added her artistic touch to several pieces from UC President Candice Gotianuy’s personal collection. Each bag she paints carries more than just color; it embodies a story of elegance, individuality, and the vibrant Filipino spirit.

Before building her brand, Lesley Anne was the Editor-in-Chief of The Penlight, UC Banilad College of Nursing’s official student publication. Back then, she told stories through words. Now, she tells them through strokes of paint, proving that artistry, in any form, begins with heart.

And that dedication has truly paid off. Her work now helps support local weavers from Negros Occidental, Aurora, Quezon, and Bocaue, Bulacan, while her beautifully hand-painted bags have found their way to discerning buyers across Europe, Japan, the United States, and Australia.

Her journey is a testament to what it means to be a UCnian: skilled, passionate, and unafraid to turn dreams into reality.
