Interactive and fun-filled learning was showcased during the Kuyug sa Serbisyo sa Baryo (KSB) at City Central School last Saturday, August 8, 2026.

The City Museum of Cagayan de Oro team kicked off the program with an exciting trivia session on the history of City Central School. Science Class students eagerly participated, diving into fascinating local historical topicsโ€”from the heroic Battle of Agusan Hill and the Tale of the Oro Fish to the origin of the City Museum.

On Saturday, August 1, 2026, the Local History on Wheels Caravan successfully hosted an educational outreach at Bongbongon Elementary School in Barangay Kauswagan. The initiative was organized in close coordination with Bongbongon ES and the City Education Development Office (CEDO).

Led by main lecturer Ms. Kim Roxas, the event engaged elementary students and City Scholars in dynamic activities designed to deepen their appreciation of Cagayan de Oroโ€™s rich culture, history, and heritage. Participants actively shared their insights and celebrated the vibrant legacy of the city.

Not your ordinary wellness session! A blend of excitement and physical activity wrapped up during the Tuesday Wellness activity last July 28, 2026, themed "Duck, Cover, and Game."

The event featured two main parts:

๐——๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐—ธ ๐—š๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐˜€: The City Museum staff dove into high-energy fun with a Duck Race and Spot-the-Duck. An extra bonus game, Search and Rescue, challenged participants to find three quotable quotes hidden around the office, with the top three finders taking home special prizes.
